Eyeshadow: Step 1: apply chapstick to the entire eyelid. (The eye shadow goes on smoother and last longer if you put a chapstick base on first) or prime eye with concealer or primer, Step 2: add white shimmer in the crease closest to the nose, Step 3: add lighter shade of blue/shimmer into the center of eyelid and slightly blend the colors to make them blend as in photo. Make sure to drag the white shimmer into the inner (closer to the nose) area of the eye, Step 4: add highlight color to the outer edge of the eyelid be sure to blend it with the center color blue as shown in the photo Eyeliner: Line the eye as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner. Very small elegant cat eye (as seen in the picture) DO NOT drag it out or make it thicker than what is shown above! Add line across the bottom making sure the liner blends in the corners. Please do not pull the eyeliner any further than seen in this picture. Cheeks: Blush must be applied to your cheeks. Please always remember to have your child smile when applying. Do not go overboard and please use a nice pink color for blush. Mascara: Please bring mascara with you to the competition as well as apply it once you have applied all other makeup products. Fake lashes are allowed if applied PROPERLY. Lips: Step 1: line lips around the outer edges first, Step 2: go back in and make the inside liner thicker, Step 3: add lip stick just in the center of the lips and ask the athlete to rub their lips together to distribute the lipstick on both top and bottom. Please bring your lip-stick to the competition as you will have to touch it up several times throughout the day!!! Parents it is highly suggested that you test the makeup on your athlete several times before competition, or until it is perfected. Waiting until the morning of competition is not recommended or suggested for anyone. Please make sure that you bring your makeup with you as touch ups will be necessary throughout the day. REMINDER: FWA does NOT allow for athletes to apply makeup or do hair at a competition inside the venue, or foyers of the venues. We ARRIVE to team check in/venue ready to compete with hair/makeup DONE!!!!

Sassy Cat Hair: IBK will wear their hair curly or straight whatever their natural hair is. ½ up ½ down (NO POOF) with their bow placed properly at the top of the head. Parents when doing your athletes hair we STRESS that the ½ pony tail must be high and in the center of the athletes head, the bow should be perfectly and fully visible when you stand in front of your athlete. A bow should NEVER lay flat on the head, and tails should NEVER lie under the pony tail. If you have doubts with the height of the pony tail and the placement of the bow we suggest that you do your athletes hair for practice and allow Mrs. Julie (Gym Manager) or the coaches approve it. Princess, Emerald, Jungle, Black Diamond, Sapphire Cats Hair: Girls: The 5 teams mentioned above will wear their hair in a high pony tail. Hair must be pin straight (yes flat ironed straight for those athletes with curly hair) on the TOP of their head. Parents when doing your athletes hair we STRESS that the pony tail must be high and in the center of the athletes head, the bow should be perfectly and fully visible when you stand in front of your athlete. A bow should NEVER lay flat on the head, and tails should NEVER lie under the pony tail. Athletes with hair that is shorter than shoulder length can do ½ up ½ down as long as the ½ that is up follows the same rules as the pony tail. If you have doubts with the height of the pony tail and the placement of the bow we suggest that you do your athletes hair for practice and allow Mrs. Julie (Gym Manager) or the coaches approve it. Crystal, Majestic, Lady Platinum, Royalty Hair: This hair style will be used for ALL competitions within the State of Florida (out of state comps MAY differ) Split bang area of hair in 2 sections. Take the 2 nd section of hair and spray it, then tease to get the correct amount of volume. Now you will take the 1 st section (front of bang) and pull over the teased section. Secure poof with bobby-pins, spray again for extra hold. Last put the rest of the hair in a HIGH pony tail, parents when doing your athletes hair we STRESS that the pony tail must be high and in the center of the athletes head, the bow should be perfectly and fully visible when you stand in front of your athlete. A bow should NEVER lay flat on the head, and tails should NEVER lie under the pony tail. Poofs are LARGE!!! Remember NO FLY AWAY HAIR! ½ up ½ down for athletes with shoulder length or shorter hair is allowed (see instructions above) but you MUST have a poof. If you have doubts with the size of the poof and the placement of the bow we suggest that you do your athletes hair for practice and allow Mrs. Julie (Gym Manager) or the coaches approve it.

Crystal, Majestic, Lady Platinum, Royalty Hair: This hair style will be used for Cheersport, UCA, & One UP!!!! Split bang area of hair in 2 sections. After your hair is in a pony tail you can use a wand or curling iron to make the lose curls as shown below. If you are using a curling iron it is suggested that you use a larger barrel curling iron so that the curls are not super tight and tiny. You will notice that the hair style below is NOT the full Texas Style hair, it does have some teasing to the top of the pony tail for volume behind the bow, please DO NOT exaggerate on the teasing of the hair it is a small amount that is required for this look, as we want to maintain the body of the curls. A 2 nd option for achieving the curls is sponge rollers or curl formers (Sally s) the night before. First you pull out the hair that will be used for the poof, Second you put the hair up in the HIGH pony tail (applying hairspray/gel for fly aways), Third you roll your athletes hair the night before as suggested in the sponge rollers/curl formers packet and in the morning you carefully remove them. Remember that you DO NOT roll the hair that will be in the poof. In the morning you follow the directions for the poof, and bow placement. There will be some strands of hair from the poof that will not be curled do to leaving them out the night before; you will have to touch those up with a curling iron or a wand after you finish the poof and have secured it with the booby-pins. Spray, Spray and Spray again and again!!!! Athletes with hair that is shorter than shoulder length can do ½ up ½ down as long as the hair is properly curled, the ½ that is up is properly teased and the poof is done. If you have doubts with the size of the poof/tease/curl and the placement of the bow we suggest that you do your athletes hair for practice and allow Mrs. Julie (Gym Manager) or the coaches approve it.

Uniform Care Instructions Please make sure to read the instructions that come with each NEW uniform package! USED uniforms please see below and take just as good of care as if they were NEW. This goes for BOTH style uniforms (picture of only 1 style above) YOU have invested $300 in this uniform and care is of utmost importance Please have your athlete in uniform, including their top on before applying makeup Wrap a towel around the front portion of the neck while applying makeup and doing hair to protect the uniform, or have them put on the warm up jacket and zip it up. Carrying a Tide Stick with you is recommended for quick stain removal Spray tans, Lipstick, foundation, eyeliner are just a few things that WILL stain the uniform No sitting on concrete or wooden surfaces. It will SNAG the bottoms! Always have your warm up bottoms on to prevent the snags! Washing the uniform as soon as it is taken OFF is very important; do not let it sit dirty for days. ***Wool-lite is recommended for washing on a very gentle cycle and hanging it to dry is best. Take OFF the athletes make up before removing the uniform, so that the makeup is NOT smudged all over the uniform while removing. Lady Platinum/Royalty you are responsible for a WHITE uniform, spray tans will ruin the uniform so if you feel that you are in need of a tan it is suggested that you STAY AWAY from spray tans and get a natural sun tan.
