What strategies does the Puerto Rican Crested Toad have to have to survive in this biome? Madagascar Exhibit As you enter through the exhibit, you enter the first biome, the Dry Forest. Yep, on a tropical island we have a few dry forests. 1. Where is this place located on the island? (Yes, Madagascar is a large island close to the mainland, we will get to a bunch of questions about this later) 2. Explain the diversity located on this island. Why are their so many unique species located on this Island?

3. What kind of primate is located here? 4. Describe the characteristics of these primates. 5. Define Endemic. 6. Describe the first exhibit. Plant life, background. 7. What is occurring to the Sifakas population? 8. How many different species of Lemurs are found in Madagascar? 9. Why are lemurs only found in Madagascar and not on Africa? Now venture into the caves of Madagascar. Make sure you bring your flashlight.

How large are these mouse lemurs? 8. Describe the Mouse Lemurs life cycle. 9. What are some amphibians that are found in Madagascar? THE SPRING FOREST 1. Describe the Spring Forest biome.

What type of adaptations do the animals in this area have? 6. Find the leaf nose snake, what adaptations do these reptiles have? 7. How do you think they find food? 8. What organisms can be found underground?
