SIDELINE PARENT Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to game time You may want to bring an umbrella and/or towel in inclement weather Per the MHSAA rules, the home team must provide a parent to support the referees, sitting between the home and away teams Primary job is tracking goals and cards, as well as making sure the referees know there are substitutions to be made (Athletic Director is supposed to supply an air horn). Please ask referees before game what support, if any, they need Even if they do not need support, you must sit between the teams in the officials area In the event that the announcer cannot see the substitutions, the Athletic Director should supply walkie-talkies From the 2018-19 MHSAA Rules Supplement
