CARE INSTRUCTIONS Athletic Uniform Care Instructions To enhance the appearance and extend the life of your uniforms, ACO recommends that you follow these cleaning and storing procedures: Uniforms should always be laundered immediately after wearing. However, if this is not possible, rinse garments and hang individually on rust-proof hangers. (Moisture may cause color migration of acid dyes so we advise separating wet or damp uniforms.) Belts and any other contrasting color items should be washed separately from the garment. It is always advisable to test wash a single uniform according to directions before washing an entire load. We recommend presoaking heavily soiled garments in cold water with a protein release agent. Follow the instructions recommended by the presoak manufacturer. Wash garments immediately following the presoak in a normal wash cycle. Wash and rinse all garments in cold water with mild detergent. Remove promptly after wash cycle to avoid color migration. For optimum results, hang garments (especially those with spandex) to dry. If you cannot hang dry, machine dry on the lowest setting. Turn jerseys inside out before machine drying. Remove items from dryer immediately upon completion of cycle. (Excessive heat can cause fabric shrinkage, discoloration, and cracking and peeling of plastisol lettering inks.) Purchase Orders must contain the PO number, style number, and description, quantity by size, color, options, names and numbers lists as well as detailed instructions for decorations. Our garments are complex to manufacture and any telephone order must also have a completed purchase order detailing the order sent by mail or by fax before we will process the order. A customer signature is required on all orders. Conditions & Acceptance No order shall be considered accepted until it has been reviewed and approved by Sales and Credit departments. New customers are required to complete a credit application listing at least three credit references with their initial order. ACO s Credit department will then establish terms and potential credit limits. Terms ACO s terms are net 0 days from the date of shipping to accounts with a satisfactory credit rating unless specifically noted on your Acknowledgement. Any unpaid invoice past the 0-day term will be subject to a legal rate of interest to be applied. No discount programs will be allowed on late payments. American Classic Outfitters reserves the right to suspend processing of any orders pending for past due account holders, without liability for consequential damages. Customer shall be liable for all expenses associated with collection service fees, attorney s fees, court costs, and interest. The terms of this agreement shall be deemed as being executed in the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri. Customer hereby consents to the court jurisdiction as chosen by American Classic Outfitters. In consideration of American Classic Outfitters, its subsidiaries or affiliates, extending credit, the officer(s) executing this application jointly and severally do personally guarantee, unconditionally, at all times, the payment to American Classic Outfitters, its subsidiaries or affiliates, of indebtedness or balance of indebtedness of the within named customer. Delivery & Customer Service We want to make sure that your order is processed to meet your full expectations. Each order will be acknowledged providing an approximate delivery date. Every effort will be made to meet that date; however, this date is an estimation and should not be considered a guaranteed date. If you have event-oriented deliveries, please be sure to tell our Sales or Customer Service Reps so we can process your order promptly. Order Minimums & Markups Please note that there may be minimum ordering requirements to place your order or specific mark ups for small quantities to cover the increased costs of producing small orders. Freight & Shipping Methods Freight charges are considered to be the customer s responsibility. Our standard freight is collect unless otherwise prearranged. ACO will ship in whichever method you specify. If no specification is made we will ship in what we consider the best way to meet your delivery requirement. Cancellations, Changes & Returns ACO is a custom order manufacturer and we therefore cannot accept cancellations or changes after the order has been launched into our Manufacturing process. Please read your acknowledgements to ensure that the time frame provided to you will meet your needs. All orders returned to ACO require a Return Authorization Form. Any order returned without this authorization will be returned to the sender at their expense. All garments returned to ACO must be cleaned prior to return to ensure the safety and health of our employees. All claims for defective workmanship or materials must be made within 0 days of receipt of the order to be considered by ACO. Licensing & Legality of Uniforms/Designs It is the customers responsibility to obtain the necessary licensing or approval for your uniform or designs. ACO will not accept the responsibility for the legality of your uniforms or designs. New Art/Designs ACO has a great number of standard designs, fonts and lettering styles to offer our customers. There will be a minimal art charge for preparing the standard designs or fonts. If you require a new design, font or lettering style, we will be happy to develop them for you at a new art creation charge on an hourly basis. There will be no discounts given on the creation of new designs. All designs once created will be considered ACO s property and will be maintained for a period of at least months from the shipment of the last order. Any re-orders during that period will not have any new art or design charges. Colors & Specifications ACO makes every effort to ensure that colors match as close as possible. There is however inherent in the process a certain amount of variation created by the absorption of dyes into differing fabrics and yarns. We therefore cannot accept responsibility for reasonable shade or color variations. All garments are designed and manufactured to fit specifications at ACO. Reasonable +/- tolerances have been set to offset the nature of the products we make. We reserve the right to make substitutions to fabrics or materials as needed to meet those specifications. Spoilage During the attribution processes of printing, tackle twill and embroidery etc. there is an inherent chance of machine spoilage. ACO takes great precautions to minimize the risk of this spoilage but can not completely eliminate it. Because of these factors we can not be held responsible for spoilage of products not manufactured by ACO within normal tolerance levels. In the event of spoilage within the tolerances, ACO will not charge for the attribution of those garments and will return all spoiled or damaged products to the customer. If the spoilage exceeds the stated quantities we may provide a customer credit for the damaged product above the normal spoilage providing that an invoice from the manufacturer of the product of the product is supplied to ACO. The Executive Committee of ACO will review all orders where spoilage is above the normal tolerances to ensure that our processes are in control and to determine if customer credits will be issued.
