We will be running the Granny Knot Autosolo and Wot Knot Production Car Autotest on Saturday 17 th May 2014, giving competitors an opportunity to compete on the same test area as the autotest. SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS 1 Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire Car Club will organise a National B status autotest on Sunday 18 May 2014. The event will be held at: Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport, Bobbington, near Stourbridge, DY7 5DY. MR 138 / 823906 2 The meeting will be governed by the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association Ltd (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FISA), these supplementary regulations and any written instructions that the organising club may issue for the event. 3 MSA permit number: 4 The event is open to: Fully elected members of Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club and members of the clubs affiliated to the BTRDA, ANWCC, AWMMC. 5 The event is a qualifying round for the fol] owing championships: BTRDA, ANWCC, AWMMC & W&SSCC 6 All competitors must produce a valid MSA competition licence, club membership card and championship registration card (if applicable).

7 The programme for the event will be: Noise and scrutineering starts at 8.30am Any competitor not signed on by 09.45am may be excluded A drivers meeting will be held at: 9:50am First test will be at 10.00am 8 The event will consist of five classes as follows: A Saloon cars under 11 overall length B Saloon cars over 11 overall length C Sports cars and sports kit cars D Specials E Road going series production cars Class E all saloons and sports cars produced in quantities of not less than 1000 / 12month period. All vehicles in this class must be capable of being driven on the road, be taxed and have a current MOT certificate (if applicable), which will be checked on the day. 9 Awards will be presented as follows: FTD The Val Shaw Memorial Cup & an award 1 st in each class minimum of 3 class entries An award 2 nd in each class minimum of 7 class entries An award 3 rd in each class minimum of 10 class entries An award 1 st novice minimum of 3 class entries An award A novice is defined as a competitor who has not won an award on a National B or higher autotest. The Val Shaw Memorial Cup must be returned after 11 months or at the organiser s request (whichever the sooner) No competitor may win more than one award Further awards may be added at the organiser s discretion. 10 The entry list opens on the publication of these regulations and closes on Sunday 11 May 2014 The entry fee is 35. If places are available, late entries may be accepted up to 09.45am on Sunday 18 May 2014 with an increased entry fee of 40. Any WSSCC member will receive a 5 discount against the relevant fee. The minimum is 20. The minimum for each class is 3, should any of the minimum figures not to be reached the organisers have the right to either cancel the event or amalgamate classes as necessary. 14 Provisional results will be on display throughout the event and as soon as possible following the finish of the event. Any protests must be made in accordance with section C. Otherwise results will be made final and the awards presented. 15 Practising will NOT be allowed. 16 Test diagrams will be either included with the finals or issued on the day. Drivers will have at least one run at each test layout. Cars will be identified by numbers, which will be provided by the organisers. Timing will be by hand held stop watches. Drivers will start in their own time upon clearance from the timing marshal. The clock will start when the front wheels cross the second start line and finish when the front wheels cross the finish line. The car must not cross the second finish line otherwise a line penalty will be applied. 17 The general regulations of the MSA apply as written, except the following which are modified: A vehicle may be entered by two different drivers. M.4.2 Pylons may be less than 1 metre high Table M.7.c. 20 marks Table M.7.d 5 marks Delete - wrong test description Add In any diagram illustrating a test, dimensions will be approximate and for guidance only. A maximum penalty will be imposed when the route around the cones is not followed as shown on the diagram and / or a line is crossed in the incorrect direction. A test will not be incorrect if the driver realises his/her mistake, goes back to the point at which the mistake occurred and then completes the test correctly as required by the diagram. 18 Unfortunately, due to the venue being a live airfield, dogs will not be allowed on the test sites and must be kept on a lead at all times. 19 Child Protection Policy Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club Policy Statement on Child Protection is as follows:- The child s welfare is paramount. All children whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, religious belief and or sexual identity, have the right to protect themselves from abuse. All suspicions and allegations of inappropriate behaviour will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately. As defined in the Children s Act 1989, anyone under the age of 18 years should be considered as a child for the purposes of this document. If you have any concerns about child protection while at this event please contact the Child Protection Officer or report it to the Clerk of the Course or Secretary of the meeting and they will instruct the Child Protection Officer to contact you urgently.
