Acquired: Selected first Round 2014 First-Year Player Draft FOR STARTERS Making his 25th career Major League start, his 26th appearance, and his 14th start at home his fourth start since being placed on the disabled list Aug. 5 with a left groin strain. Rookie southpaw is a native of Denver who graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Pitched collegiately at the University of Evansville in Southern Indiana drafted by Colorado in the first round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft (eighth overall). Invited twice to Major League Spring Training, in 2016 and 2017. LAST TIME OUT Did not factor into the decision in the Rockies 7-6 win over at Atlanta on Aug. 26 pitched six innings and allowed four runs on a career-high tying 10 hits with one walk and five strikeouts.
