The event has been held on the Friday of Pride Weekend since 2004. The march starts at Dolores Park on Friday, June 23rd at 6PM and continues downtown via Dolores, R-Market, L-Taylor and disbands on Taylor between Market & Turk. The march ends around 8PM. Approximately 2,500 people expected to march. Make contact with SFPD event lead Sergeant Kaprosch and event sponsor. Monitor the formation area in Dolores Park beginning at 1500hrs. Follow the march from the front; 1-T-96 will handle the 33 line crossing at Dolores and follow the march from the rear. The route of the march affects the 22, 33 and Market St lines (MRO will monitor for J, F line impacts). SFPD will not hold the marchers on Dolores; the 22 and 33 lines coaches will have brief delays while marchers cross 18th and 16th streets. Be aware of the rerouting IB 19 and 21 lines after 1930hrs due to the Civic Center street closures for the Pride Festival. After the march disperses, remain on Turk at Taylor until the ceremony is over. Work with 1-T-96, who will remain on Turk and Mason, to help assist the 31-line operators proceed through safely. If necessary, 1-T-96 will instruct operators to drop their poles, rack them and have the bus EPU one block to Taylor. Give clearances to Central Control and write in times at the end of the Operations Order. 1-T-96 Dolores Park/Turk & Mason 1400-2200 Focus: Support 1-T-90 and assist with 31/7X coaches on Turk Street. 1T90 will monitor the march from the front; follow the march from the rear and monitor the 33 line crossing at Dolores when the marchers clear 18th St. After the march disperses, remain on Turk at Mason until the renaming ceremony is over. The event has the northbound lane closed on Turk Street. Work with 1-T-90, who will remain on Turk and Taylor, to help assist the 31-line operators proceed through safely. o If necessary, instruct the operators to drop their poles, rack them and have the bus EPU one block to Taylor where 1-T-90 can replace the poles. 1-T-97 16 th & Dolores/Turk & Jones 1400-2200 ORDER 2017-762 Trans March June 23, 2017 2

Focus: Assist 22-line and support 7X and 31 downtown. The 22 line will be delayed when the marchers cross 16th St. Work with PCOs to get them across Dolores before the marchers arrive and hold them until the march clears 16th St. Once the parade clears, move to Turk & Jones. The 31 and 7X lines will be allowed to run on Turk during the event times all other traffic will be rerouted. Barricades will split Turk Street to keep participants safe from the buses when they go past. Communicate with PCOs and PD to make certain crowd control is enforced to avoid overflow onto Turk Street. MRO Operational Assignments 4-T-40 18 th & Church 1700 Focus: Monitor J-line impacts at Dolores Park and F-line impacts on Market Street (see details below). Monitor the Dolores Park area for J line impacts due to traffic/pre-march activities Communicate with 1-T-90/1-T-96/OCC/LMC throughout event. Beginning around 4pm, the F Market will be running as a motor coach sub. Four existing F-line streetcar runs will pull-in to the yard from Steuart Loop. F-SC will run along the Embarcadero only until the parade has cleared. 4-C-55 18th & Church 1600-2000 Focus: Monitor F-line and assist with turnaround at Steuart Loop. Beginning at 4pm, four runs of the F-line will serve as a motor coach sub. Four existing F-line streetcar runs will pull-in to the yard from Steuart Loop, and remaining streetcar runs will only run along the Embarcadero until the parade has cleared. See Service Order for detail. Ensure that all F streetcars (except for the runs that are pulling into the yard, see Service Order) use the turnaround at Steuart Loop and only operate along the Embarcadero after 5pm until further instructions. Coordinate with 1-T-90 to return the F-line to regular service once the parade has cleared Market Street. Send copy of this Order, with Section 2 completed, to the Superintendent of Special Events at events.muni@sfmta.com within five days after the event. This form will be submitted to finance, contractors and other city agencies as needed. ALL TASKS ARE MANDATORY. CHECK THE BOXES AS TASKS ARE COMPLETED. Arrive on location punctually at the assigned time. You must be visible. Wear a safety vest, star and badge visibly at all times You must have all required equipment i.e. order bulletins, assignments orders, radio, ticket book, incident/accident report forms, line check forms, rider alert signs, camera, flash light, cones etc. Communicate with on-site contact and clearly convey the expectations of on-time service delivery. Exchange information with all on-site personnel including SFPD, PCO, Foreman, Superintendent, Overhead line crew Supervisor Assist all coaches/cable cars/ historic cars/lrv safely through the location. Ensure there are no obstructions to revenue service. In coordination with LMC /OCC, monitor and manage service on affected lines by performing line checks and headway adjustments. Submit these forms at the end of shift. Must Contact OCC before and after event has cleared. If the event ends before your scheduled time, inspector MUST contact your lead, office manager, superintendent or OCC before leaving the assigned location.
