Canned/packet broth/gravy. Corn muffin mix. Stuffing Pudding BA Neighbors Christmas Project It s time to get started on our club Christmas Project! In past years we have helped fill Christmas stockings which Broken Arrow Neighbors (BAN) distributed to children and senior in our local communities. Currently BAN operates out of a 70 year old building that was once a funeral home. Even with the outdated facility, BAN has managed to serve over 4,000 people a year with emergency assistance services such as food, financial assistance, medical care and clothing. BAN is a nonprofit organization and is celebrating its 30 th year of serving our community. Plans are in the works for a new 10,000 square-foot building to be completed by the end of 2014 just north of their current location. So, this year, due to storage constraints at BAN, we are asking club members to donate canned goods/and or monetary contributions at our December meeting. The club will be matching whatever monies we collect and will be given to BAN to help with the Christmas baskets. If you already have stockings saved back for our usual Christmas project, you are welcome to still donate them, however, please fill them with goodies & attach a label with age & gender of the recipient. We will make sure they get to BAN in time for Christmas. Thank you for helping! Jean Dick & Marge Wierzchowski Time to help BAN with your donations. Remember To bring your donations to our November And December Meetings.

7 I.T.T.H.C Treasure News Page 7 ITTHC Fall Hunt 2013 Fall Club Member Only Hunt Roundup The hunt was held Sunday, October 20th at the Creek County Fairgrounds. Had a great day with a bright blue sky on a sunny day with the high temperature around the 70 mark. Thanks to all those that were out there early helping with stringing the fields, burying the coins, setting up the building, cleaning up the building, and all the other jobs that had to be done for this event to be a success. And the most important segment of the Fall Hunt, the food! There were 45 ITTHC members lined up for this banquet. There was a great spread of food again. (Terry could not even sample all of it, but made himself miserable trying!) We probably should have had a second feed after the main hunt. Thanks to all the cooks that made it possible and that includes all you Bobby Crocker dessert contest participants. Thank you Rachel Hayworth for organizing the Bobby Crocker contest. It was all OUTSTANDING! The club allotted $300.00 to purchase prizes for the hunt. Jim Nobles did another good job on the selection of prizes purchased and working the prize board. There were also club member donated prizes. Thanks to all those that donated prizes to the hunt. The prize tokens were stamped and painted Silver Mercury Dimes & Silver No-Date Standing Liberty Quarters. This year the prize tokens were buried by Terry Humphries. This years hunt also had $233.00 from the October Silent Auction to purchase coins over the entry fees collected. In the Main Coin/Prize Hunt there were a 29 entries. The hunt field was 50 yards by 80 yards. There were 433 Silver Mercury Dimes in the hunt, purchase price $1.70 per dime. If we got everybody s count right there were 6 Silver Mercury Dimes more found than we buried. There wa s a total of 69 prizes, more than 2 per entry. All of the prize tokens were found. If you size the hunt field correctly with a crew like ours, most of the buried items will be found. Some of the higher totals: Lloyd Coke 29 dimes & 4 prize tokens. Bob Cook 28 dimes & 6 prize tokens. Len Eames 26 dimes & 3 prize tokens. Wally Dick 25 dimes & 1 prize token. John Freeman 24 dimes & 2 prize tokens. John Hamilton 20 dimes & 3 prize tokens. Jody Hamilton 19 dimes & 3 prize tokens. Daniel Parker 19 dimes & 1 prize token. These are some of the folks you want to watch to improve your techniques in this type of hunt. Thanks to Cody Reese for stepping in and running the Kids Hunt. It appeared that all of the kids were prize winners and had a great time. Both the raffles at the hunt, Prize Raffle & 50/50 raffle, had great club member support. The Prize Raffle had donations as prizes in it also, thanks to all those that donated. Lee Wierzchowski was the big winner in the 50/50 raffle of $39.00! Thank you Mike Mitchell and Rachel Hayworth for running the raffles. If you missed the 2013 Fall Club Member Only Hunt, you missed another good one. Hope everyone had a great time.
