The Governor s Message Administrators Words Brothers, Ladies and Co Workers, The Easter holiday is just around the corner. It is very early this year, with spring following close behind. The appreciation dinner was held in January, and I, once again, wish to thank everyone who has volunteered their talents over the last year. I have tried several times to have town meetings, to discuss our future endeavors and to hear you, the members. They were poorly attended. I have not given up on this idea, but for now there is none scheduled.. The Park Avenue Club had their mid-year dinner on the 23 rd of February. There were nominations that night for next year s officers, to be elected at the clam bake. The women will once again be sponsoring an Easter egg hunt for the children. Look for the particulars elsewhere in the news letter. Remember that the March WOTM breakfast will also be our Meat Shoot. Come out and take your chances on winning a Ham. We are considering offering other items on our menu on Thursday Night Buffets. We would like to hear some input from you, the members. Please plan on coming out and supporting your lodge in the coming months. Fraternally yours, Charles E Staley Governor Hello my Brothers and Co workers, I just want to start by saying how proud I am of this lodge and all of you, the members. This past month David/Randall Associates completed the new roof, along the inspection from Carlisle Roofing Systems (materials manufacturer). We now have a 20 year warranty certificate. This was not the only project that our lodge completed this past year. The lodge s electric panels in the kitchen were upgraded and replaced. We also replaced the entire dance floor, due to the water damage from the roof. All these projects cost the lodge around $72,000 I want to thank everyone who supported the lodge this pasted year. There will be new fundraisers coming up, and I look forward to your support. Fraternally Yours, Phillip Febus Administrator
Women of the Moose News Dear Co-workers, I can hardly believe that this is my final letter as Senior Regent. It has been an exciting and enjoyable year. I ve had the privilege of working with an exceptional group of officers. Working as a team with these great women has given me a sense of satisfaction and pride. I enjoyed the support of so many co-workers who gave their time and energy to serve as chairmen and committee members. I had the opportunity to work with our Governor, Administrator and our lodge officers throughout the year. I thank them for their dedication and support during my term. It was a pleasure to work together toward mutual goals for our fraternity. I would like to encourage all co-workers to consider being a committee chairman, or run for office. The sense of accomplishment and the worthy goal of service to our community is worth all the effort. Our organization needs each of our unique talents to continue its tradition of brotherhood and service. I want to offer my continued support to the incoming group of officers and wish them every success. Most importantly, I wish to express my gratitude to each of you for your friendship. It is that which gives me my greatest reward as a member of this fine family fraternity. Sincerely and Fraternally Yours, Sherri Welch Senior Regent The Academy of Friendship annual banquet will be held on May 13 th.
