Morgan Alex Baker Blythewood HS Defender/Midfield Blythewood, S.C. Charlotte Soccer Academy October 2, 1995 5 5 THE Baker FILE AT Blythewood / LEE University... Alex joins the Blue Raiders after one season spent at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. She was a four-year starter at Blythewood and helped the Bengals to three consecutive 4A Region Championships and a third-place finish in the state in 2013. Baker served as a team captain for two years and was named All-State in her senior season. She also competed in the Clash of Carolinas All-Star Game and played club soccer for Charlotte Soccer Academy. In her freshman campaign at NCAA Division II Lee University, Baker and the Flames won the NCCAA National Championship. Alex is the daughter of Amy and Brad Baker and hopes to get a degree in Marketing from Middle Tennessee. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON Baker... Alex is a very strong, aggressive, all-around defensive player. She is very good in the air and strong in the tackle. Her work ethic and game intelligence makes her an effective attacking defender for us.

Sydney Chalcraft Francis Howell Central HS Goalkeeper St. Charles, Mo. St. Louis Scott Gallagher January 9, 1998 5 7 THE CHALCRAFT FILE AT FRANCIS HOWELL CENTRAL HS / ST. LOUIS SCOTT GALLAGHER Sydney Chalcraft joins Middle Tennessee from Francis Howell Central in St. Charles, Mo. In 2013 she helped her high school team to the State Cup Championship. Then, in 2014 she lead her district in Class 3 in saves and playing time. She also won the Spartan Outstanding Defensive Player award and was named GAC South second team All-Conference. The four-year starter followed that up in 2015 with 15 shutouts during the high school season. For her efforts she won Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, second team All-Metro and led her team to Class 3 State Runner-up. She also helped her club team finish second in the North American Nationals in Seattle, Wash. Sidney is the daughter of Michelle and Rick Chalcraft, Sydney also has a brother named Mikey. In addition to soccer, Sydney enjoys snowboarding and skiing and plans to major in Biology. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON BROWN... Sydney is a very competent keeper with good athleticism and safe hands. She organizes well and is very comfortable playing with her feet. She will be a great addition to our goalkeeper position.

Sam DeBien Cleveland HS Forward/Midfield Cleveland, Tenn. FC Alliance August 24, 1998 5 2 THE DEBIEN FILE AT CLEVELAND HS / FC ALLIANCE... Sam joins Middle Tennessee from Cleveland in Cleveland, Tenn. In 2013-14 she won All-District, All-Region and All-State honors. Sam also won Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps award for that season. In 2015-16 she again had a great season, taking home MVP, All-District, All-Region, District Player of the Year and Region Player of the Year awards. Sam was also named First Team All- State and again won the Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps award. Sam s parents are Silvia and Eric Phillips, Sam also has a brother Chris who s the four-time state wrestling champion and currently wrestles at Chattanooga. She hopes to play soccer professionally and one day would like to coach the game as she plans to earn a degree in Exercise Science. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON DEBIEN... Sam is a very versatile attacking player with excellent awareness in and around the box. She s very durable and has a work rate. Her ability to score goals from outside the box will be an asset for us.

Taylor Hatch Estero HS Midfield/Forward Fort Myers, Fla. Florida Fire Juniors February 20, 1998 5 4 THE HATCH FILE AT ESTERO HIGH SCHOOL / FLORIDA FIRE JUNIORS... Taylor comes to the Boro from Fort Myers, Fla. As a Freshman at Estero High School, she was named News-Press All-Area Soccer Honorable Mention. Her Sophomore season she helped lead her team to a District Championship and as a Junior she was named to the News-Press All-Area Soccer First Team, MVP and helped bring home another District Title. She was a varsity captain as a senior. Off the field she won the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientist Award of Excelence and was part of the 2015 Homecoming Court as a Senior. Taylor is the daughter of JJ and Lloyd Hatch and has two brothers, Tanner and Trevor. She plans to major in Exercise Science and become a personal trainor or nutritionist. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON HATCH... Taylor is a very creative player with strong 1v1 attacking skills. She has a knack of finding space behind defenders and arriving at the right moments in the box. Her dribbling ability and pace will make her a fun player to watch.

Amber Hoot Carroll HS Forward/Midfield Churubusco, Ind. Fort Wayne United July 30, 1997 5 5 THE HOOT FILE AT CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL / FORT WAYNE UNITED... Amber comes to MT from Churubusco, Ind. At Carroll she was named First Team All-District in 2013, 2014, and 2015 and was named Third Team All-State in 2013. Amber was rewarded with First Team All-State honors in 2014 and 2015. She also earned NSCAA All-Region honors each of those seasons and was an All- American Participant in 2015. Her team won Sectional Titles all three years and the Regional Championship in 2014. Amber was a Team Captain in 2014 and 2015 and won the Mental Attitude Award in 2014. She was the Team MVP in 2015 and picked up News Sentinel Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015. Amber also won a State Cup Championship with Fort Wayne United in 2013 and was a part of an ECNL National Tournament Qualifier in 2014 and 2015 with Indiana Fire Juniors. Amber is the second daughter of Theresa and Tim Hoot and her sister Erica plays college soccer at Trine University in Angola, Ind. Amber hopes to become a pediatrician and help establish health care in a third world country through missionary work. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON HOOT... Amber is a versatile attacking player. She is strong on both sides of the ball and has great vision and awareness. Her ability to unlock defenses with dribble and pass penetration will give us more flexibility in our attack.

Charlotte Van Ishoven KA Redingenhof Midfield/Forward Zoersel, Belgium Standard De Liege October 20, 1997 5 7 THE Van ISHOVEN FILE AT KA Redingenhof / Auburn University... Charlotte makes her way to Middle Tennessee from Belgium after a one-year stop at Auburn. Van Ishoven was the top scorer on her club team, Standard De Liege, in 2015 and 2016. While at Auburn in her freshman season, she played in 20 contests and earned one start, scoring a pair of goals and earning one assist to finish second among the Tigers freshmen in points with five. Charlotte is the daughter of Carine Houtmyers and Dirk Van Ishoven and hopes to get a degree in Athletic Training from Middle Tennessee. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON Van Ishoven... Charlotte is a very strong attacking player with great pace and excellent work ethic. She is a very skillful player who excels in tight spaces and is as good creating goals as she is scoring them. She will be a great addition to an already flexible and versatile offense.

Salera Jordan Clarksville HS Midfield/Forward Palmyra, Tenn. TSC16 July 14, 1998 5 7 THE JORDAN FILE AT CLARKSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL / TSC16... Salera makes the trip down I-24 to Murfreesboro from Palmyra, Tenn. The Clarksville High grad won All-District four times, was a three-time All State player, a two-time All- South player, was named Leaf Chronicle Player of the Year twice and The Tennessean Player of the Year twice. She was also named Captain two times. Salera is the Daughter of Patti and Jeff Jordan and has four siblings. She has three brothers Jacob, Hayden and Satchel. Her sister Dylan played soccer at Ole Miss from 2008-11 and went on to play in the Women s Professional Soccer League with the Philadelphia Fever in 2012. Salera is undecided on a major at this point. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON JORDAN... Salera is a box to box midfielder with the ability to score goals. Her awareness and vision allows her to bring others into the game while creating scoring opportunities of her own. Salera will allow us to play out of several shapes in the midfield.

Maddy Kim Notre Dame Academy Goalkeeper California, Ky. Ohio Elite Academy August 27, 1998 5 8 THE KIM FILE AT NOTRE DAME ACADEMY / OHIO ELITE ACADEMY... Maddy comes to Murfreesboro from the Blue Grass state. The California, Ky. native played at Notre Dame Academy and won All-State honors in each of three seasons between 2012-14. She was also Academic Honorable Mention those years and helped lead her team to the Kentucky State Championship in 2013. A return trip in 2014 earned her high school a Runner-up trophy. Maddy s parents are Lorri and Joe Kim and Maddy has one brother. She enjoys working out and shopping for shoes, and plans to achieve an Athletic Training degree. Once that is done Maddy hopes to become an Orthopedic Assistant. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON KIM... Maddy is a very technical keeper. She organizes well and is a good shot stopper. She will certainly make our goal keeping position even strogner this year.

Casey Riemer Bearden HS Defender Knoxville, Tenn. FC Alliance January 24, 1998 5 4 THE RIEMER FILE AT BEARDEN HIGH SCHOOL / FC ALLIANCE... Casey hales from Knoxville, Tenn. The former Bearden Bulldog was named to the AAA All-State team in 2014 and 2015. She earned Region 2 MVP Honors in 2015, was a Region 2 First team selection in 2014 and 2015, won District 4 MVP in 2015 and was named to the District 4 First team in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She also picked up PrepXtra First team honors in 2014 and 2015, All KIL each year from 2012-2015 and was named to the NSCAA All-South Region Team in 2015. She was also a Team Captain. Casey s parents are Marilyn and Jeff Reimer, Casey has a brother Kyle and a sister Kelly. Casey enjoys snowboarding, hiking, YoungLife and hanging out with friends. She is undecided on a major but hopes to lead the Blue Raiders to the National Championship during her career. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON RIEMER... Casey is a solid defender with great attacking skills. Her pace and agressiveness will allow her to contain attackers while her ability to score goals will make her an attacking threat for us.

Savannah Stair Sevier County HS Defender Kodak, Tenn. FC Alliance January 9, 1998 5 6 THE STAIR FILE AT sevier county HS / fc alliance... Savannah comes to Middle Tennessee from Sevierville, Tenn. While at Sevier County she was named First Team All-District twice and Second Team All-District once. She also earned IMAC All-Conference honors, being named to the All-Conference team. And that was just her soccer accolades. In track, she was part of the 4x400 relay team that won first place in the Inter-Mountain Athletic Conference and was named to the IMAC All-Conference team. In the classroom, Savannah won the Geometry award as a Sophomore. Savannah s parents are Deborah and Edwin Stair and she has a brother, Eric. Her dad played football for the Carson-Newman Eagles from 1963-64. Savannah plans to become a physical theropist and hopes to play soccer beyond the Division I level. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON STAIR... Savannah is a hard nose defender who likes to get forward in the attack. She has great passing range, vision, and is a threat from distance. Her versatility will give us some balance in the backline.

Hannah Tkacz Leo Senior HS Defender Leo, Ind. Fort Wayne United November 25, 1997 5 10 THE TKACZ FILE AT leo senior hs / fort wayne united... Hannah comes to Murfreesboro from Leo, Ind. At Leo Senior she earned All-State honors in 2015. She was named All-District in each season between 2013-15 and First Team All-Conference from 2012-2015. Hannah was named to the All-Area Team and was a Journal Gazette Player to watch in 2014 and 2015. She was the Team Captain in 2014 and 2015, was voted the Most Motivating Player in 2015, and was her team s leading scorer in 2015. Hannah also excelled in the class room as she was named to the All-State Academic team in 2014 and 2015. Hannah is the oldest of Anne and Kevin Tkacz s four children. She has one brother, Andrew, and two sisters, Samantha and Emma. Hannah hopes to become either a doctor or physician s assistant when she is done with soccer. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON TKACZ... Hannah is a strong defender with good size who reads the game very well. Her ability in the air will be an asset in defense and on attacking set pieces. Her ability to play in the midfield will help us be more flexible in our play.

Katelynn Traver Esperanza HS Defender Yorba Linda, Calif. Legends FC January 9, 1998 5 4 THE TRAVER FILE AT CLAREMONT HS / LEGENDS NORTH... Katelynn comes to Middle Tennessee all the way from Yorba Linda, Calif. At Esperanza she was named First Team All-League all four years. She earned Best Newcomer as a Freshman, Defensive MVP as a Sophomore and Junior, and was named to the Excaliber All-Tournament Team as a Junior and a Senior. Her academics were top of the table as well as she was a Scholar Athlete all four years. Katelynn s parents are Andrea and John Traver, and she is the oldest of three kids. She has one brother, Dylan, and one sister, Jaylynn. Katelynn enjoys spending time with family, traveling and watching Netflix. She also plans to major in Pre-Medicine and one day hopes to work in the medical field helping veterans. MT HEAD COACH ASTON RHODEN ON TRAVER... Katelynn is a versatile defender who plays well on both sides of the ball. She oreganizes well and her pace and awareness will help us be more secure in the back and be more flexible in defense.
