Upcoming Events Display Show and Contest At our October 7th meeting we will be having a Display Show and Contest. We haven t done this in years. It is a lot of fun and seeing all of the cases will give you the fever to get out and hunt. We will be having five categories: Coins, Relics, Military Relics, Jewelry, and Most Unusual. You can enter in as many categories as you want. The display cases can contain items that you have found in your lifetime of Metal Detecting. You can use any theme and arrange your case any way you want, as long as you stick to the category. As far as the Most Unusual Case, anything goes. Club members will be voting on the Display Cases and prizes will be awarded in each category and for the best overall Case. So get your creative juices flowing and put your cases together. Club Fall Hunt Our Three Forks Fall Club Hunt will be held in November. The date and details have not been worked out yet. All ideas and suggestions for the upcoming hunt will be appreciated. We will also need a volunteer to run the Main Hunt. Maybe we can talk Randall into putting on his Golden Road Hunt again. Newsletter via Email Your club dues pays for your newsletter. You can get it any way you want. By Email, by paper, or both ways. Let me know how you want it. If you get it by just Email you are saving the club about $12.00 a year.
