Maryland is currently No. 2, followed by No. 17 Indiana, No. 20 Michigan State and No. 43 Wisconsin. Maryland is unbeaten on the season. The Terrapins boast a 16-0-2 record and a 5-0-2 mark against teams currently rated among the top 50 of the NCAA RPI. Maryland is the top-ranked team in the NSCAA Men s Soccer Coaches Poll. Indiana is ranked No. 7, followed by No. 12 Michigan State and No. 18 Wisconsin. Maryland s Gordon Wild, the 2016 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, leads the Big Ten with 15 goals and 35 points. Wild currently ranks third in the nation in goals and is second in the country in points. Maryland has won the last two Big Ten Tournament titles. The last squad to win the tournament championship before the Terrapins was Indiana in 2013. Indiana s Tanner Thompson claimed Big Ten Midfielder of the Year honors for the second straight season.
