FACTION A/W 2017/18 HIGHLIGHTS WE ARE THE FACTION COLLECTIVE Faction was formed in 2006 in Verbier, Switzerland by a group of skiers, designers, artists, engineers, athletes and most importantly, friends. For the 2017/18 collection, our mission was to build tools of escape by creating innovative, high performance skis that inspire skiers everywhere to challenge their limits, explore their creativity and enjoy incredible experiences in the mountains. DESIGNED WITH LOVE, BUILT TO LAST We create products that couple intelligent design and forward-thinking materials with traditional manufacturing techniques. We re obsessed with the smallest details in everything we make. Shapes, materials, technologies, trims, cuts, styles. All skis are rider-designed in-house in Verbier by an experienced design engineer. Our shaper carefully matches the dimensions, sidecut and camberline whilst materials, tech and construction are refined to provide the optimum flex and performance for the desired use. We threw out the rulebook when we started Faction and we continue with the ethos to this day. We re not afraid to try the things the big brands can t. THE MOUNTAIN IS MY PLAYGROUND Our long-term aim is to build a sustainable production model and we take steps in that direction every year. Our products are manufactured in the European Union, using raw materials sourced in Europe and FSC timbers grown and cured at the factory. We develop and own all our own molds none are shared. We are working with bio-epoxy providers and researching buy-back schemes for old products. Our Verbier office is hydro-electrically powered and we are developing programmes to re-use offcuts and waste fabrics from our appreal production. Quality and durability are an integral part of the product, and all products are covered by an industry-leading two year warranty.

POMOCA COLLAB Our skis deserve a class-leading touring skin to go with it. Pomoca, also based in Switzerland, have been making skins for nearly 80 years and are world-renowned for making reliable, easy to use products. We have available a glueless skin for normal conditions, and a glued skin for colder conditions.
DICTATOR SERIES DICTATOR 3.0 132/105/121mm The Dictator series is your classic freeride flat tail ski, reimagined and rebooted into the 21st century. Perfect for straightlining that couloir or arcing turns on blue ice, the Dictator series is for those who want to ski at Mach 10 everywhere they can.
