Step by step instructions to process your corporate sponsorship online. You can also mail a check to STSM. HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COMPANY 1) Go to http://www.stsm.org/events/tee-it-stsm-golf-tournament 2) You can submit your sponsorship form online or via downloadable PDF. 3) Complete the online form and submit payment through the secure system or complete the offline form and return it with your check to STSM. If you will be sponsoring a hole in addition to your sponsorship level and would like to pay by credit card, please call Mary Dell Hayes at (803) 790-8208. 4) When your sponsorship submission is complete, STSM will email you an online form for individual golfers to register as members of your sponsored team. 5) Invite the people you would like to play on your team to submit their individual registration. HOW TO INVITE PLAYERS TO REGISTER 1) Make sure your potential team members know the name of your team! 2) Email the player registration form to your individual players to complete their registration. 3) If there are changes to your team roster, please have the new players complete the individual registration form. What is STSM? Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) is a private, non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization, which first began servicing victims of sexual assault in 1983. One of 14 rape crisis centers in South Carolina, STSM provides crisis intervention, advocacy, and support services to female and male child, adolescent, and/or adult survivors of sexual assault and abuse without regard to race or national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, or sexual orientation. STSM also provides prevention education and community outreach. The agency serves these survivors and their families in a four county area: Richland, Lexington, Newberry, and Sumter counties. What is Tee It Up For STSM? Tee It Up For STSM is an annual golf tournament founded by a former board member ten years ago. This event raises funds to support the no-cost advocacy, counseling, and prevention education services STSM offers to the community. Where does the money go? Funds are used to support the free services STSM offers to support survivors of sexual violence and to offer prevention education to local schools, community groups, and businesses. How many people are needed to form a team? Four people form a team! Why participate in Tee It Up For STSM? This fun golf tournament helps raise funds for an awesome cause to end sexual violence in our community. Did you know that one in four women will experience sexual violence in her lifetime? What can I expect on the day of the tournament? A great time and beautiful weather (We hope!)! There is a shotgun start promptly at 11:00am. Golf carts are provided and greens fees are included in your sponsorship. Lunch and beverages will be delivered to you on the course. A barbeque dinner and awards presentation starts around 4:30pm. What prizes can I win? Prizes are given to top teams, closest to the pin, and several other fun contests. There is a major prize for hitting a hole in one!
Golden Hills is located at 100 Scotland Drive in Lexington, SC. From Interstate 20 take Exit 61 to Highway 378 W towards Lexington. Golden Hills is approximately four miles off Interstate 20 on the left. The entrance is located across from the Kohl s Department Store. Follow Scotland Drive until you arrive at the club parking lot.
