Pro-Am Tournament 1. $50 entry fee $25 JF. CNYRHA will retain 50% of entry fees 2. Each Team will consist of one Professional (Open) rider and one Non-Pro or Youth rider. A Professional may partner on up to 3 teams; draw will be based on the Professional partner. A horse may only be shown once. 3. No equipment change other than adjusting stirrups when changing riders. Horses to be shown one handed. 4. The Top six teams will be paid in prize money: %30- %25- %20- %15- %5- %5 5. The following handicaps for the Non Pro/Youth Partner will allow additional points to each team: 13&under rider= 1 point 14-18 rider= ½ point Rookie 1 or 2 rider=1 point Prime Time Rider=1/2 Point Only the single highest handicap will apply. For example: A team scoring a 70 with a Prime time Rider(1/2 point handicap), who is also Rookie eligible, will have a 1 point handicap since the Rookie handicap is higher. The total score would be 71. 6. CNYRHA will provide a special trophy for the winners. Pattern: Amateur ride first half of pattern, Pro will ride second half. Amateur Pattern 1. Walk to the center of the arena, right lead 3 circles, 2 large fast circles, one small slow, stop in the center 2. 4 spins right 3. Depart left lead 1 large fast left circle, change leads in center 4. Start a circle to the right, do not close circle, run down center of arena past end marker stop. Walk to ingate. Change of rider: Amateur will dismount, Pro will mount (at in-gate) Pro Pattern 1. Walk to center of arena, left lead 3 circles, 2 large fast, one small slow, stop in the center. 2. 4 spins left 3. Depart right lead 1 large fast circle, change leads in center 4. Start circle to left, do not close circle, run up center of arena past end marker stop back.
SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS Entries and Stall payments in US funds only The first class of the day will close the night before. All other classes will close 2 hours prior to posted start times. Post entries will be accepted until the class begins. **Derby Entries will close at 10 am Saturday May 31 st ** Friday and Saturday post entries will go first. On Sunday post entries will go last. FAIRGROUNDS RULES AND REGULATIONS All horses entering the NYS Fairgrounds must show proof of current negative coggins test Out of state and Canadian horses will require 30 day health certificate Dogs are to be leashed at all times All manure is to be placed in designated areas only Horses are not allowed on grass areas In accordance with New York State law all buildings are nonsmoking this includes all barns, arenas and warm up areas. All sharps and medical waste are to be disposed of in medical waste boxes Campers and RV trailers must be parked in designated areas and must display appropriate camping sticker. Any/ all exhibitor using camper or trailer for overnight will be charged a camping fee. Horse trailers and trucks must be parked in designated areas. No motorized vehicles are allowed in barns or arena areas. Anyone operating a motorized vehicle must have a valid drivers liscense issued by their state of residence. All exhibitors are to make themselves aware of the NYS Helmet law which requires children under the age of 14 to wear ASTM Safety helmets unless waiver is signed,and are to abide by this law.
