ERA Trainers Website User Guide The Emirates Racing Authority launched the On-line Entry and Declaration site to facilitate the process of Entering and Declaring whilst remembering of gear and jockeys. Benefits to trainers include assisting with the eligibility of horses to run and providing detailed information on horses in training. http://trainers.emiratesracing.com/ High speed internet connection access is recommended for this site. DATE AND TIME Date and time are set to the time on the ERA server. When the advised time has lapsed any work page which is currently open, Entries or Declarations on that work page will be accepted once submitted, however further activities are not possible. For security, a user will be logged out should the site remain idle for 30 minutes. The closing time for Entries and Declarations will be published in the ERA Conditions Book. Entries and Declarations outside these timings will not be processed. 1 HOW TO ENTER A HORSE A Selecting horses for Entry 1) On the left hand menu click on <Enter Horses>. This will bring up a screen which lists the races available for that week. 2) Select a race. This will bring up the information which relates to that one race.

3) Click on <Add Horse/s> at bottom of this screen. A pop up window will appear for all horses at stable; eligible horses are in green at the top of the window. To sort horses by name, click on horse heading, to sort by rating, click on rating heading. The trainer is ultimately responsible to ensure the horses entered are eligible for that race. 4) Click on the horse you wish to enter in this race. Entries will only be allowed for horses which are eligible. When a horse is added, text will appear below the horse s name to note it has been added. When you have selected horses for Entry you must close the pop up window to proceed to the next step. This will return you to the race screen which will show, at the bottom, a list of horses you have chosen to enter.

5) You have a choice to choose the next race in sequence, or previous race or choose another race, select <Next Race>, <Previous Race> or <Choose Another Race>. B Finalising Entries 6) When you have completed all your Entries you must select <Finalise Entries>. You can do this either by selecting <Finalise Entries> while working within the <Declare Horses, Choose Horses> page or by selecting <Finalise Entries> on the left hand menu. This will bring you to a screen entitled <Finalise Entries>. This will list all the Entries you have added. If you want to add more Entries, select <Add More Entries>. To remove any horse prior to submitting Entries, use the X icon.

7) When you are ready to finalise Entries select <Submit Entries to the ERA>. A pop up prompt will appear, select OK. A transaction receipt will be generated and a link will appear on the screen. Your transaction receipt will note your receipt number; the status of the entry should appear as processed. Please print this receipt as this is your proof of entry and any communications with the ERA regarding this entry will require you to quote this receipt number. 8) An ERA Trainer Alert will be forwarded by email confirming that the transaction number has been processed at the ERA Offices. Please ensure the Registry Office has your current email address. 9) When you return to the main race screen, the races for which you have submitted Entries will appear in italics. If you have mistakenly entered a horse or if there is an error in any information pertaining to a horse, please contact the ERA Registry Office immediately. Registry Office phone number: +971 4 327 0077.
