ORGANISATION: The Meeting will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, and the National Competition Rules of Karting Australia and the <Choose a State> State Regulations. 4. 4. ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1. Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon ( top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a race meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2. Payment of the Entry Fee can be made by Credit Card only: Credit Card: Visa Mastercard 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES 10 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or Division. 5.1. NOTE: 40 IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER PER CLASS. ONLY THE FIRST 40 ENTRIES PER CLASS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or Division to form in its own right, the Compulsory 5.2. Competition Class/es will be Consolidated in accordance with Competition Rules - Chapter 1, Rule 9. If a Class or Division is cancelled, the Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in 5.3. accordance with the Rules. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 2. Practice 1pm till 5pm on Friday and 1 x 5minute session per class on Saturday 3. There Will be timed qualifying at this event. 4. FORMAT 1 TIMED QUALIFYING EVENT If Timed Qualifying will occur (Kart order must be random no high/low numbers): 4.1. Qualifying One Qualifying session per class of 6 minutes 4.2. There will be 2 Heats. The Grid for Heat 1 will be set from times achieved in Qualifying, with fastest time on grid 1, and so on. Heats 4.3. The Grid for Heat 2 will replicate the finishing order of Heat 1. For KZ2 only, The Grid for Heat 2 will be set from times achieved in Qualifying, with fastest time on grid 1, and so on. 4.4. Pre-final 1 Pre-final. The grid for the Pre-final will be set using the Zero Points system with the lowest points from the 2 heats going to grid 1 and so on. 4.5. Final 1 Final. going to grid 1 and so on. For KZ2 only, the grid for the Final replicates the finishing order of the Pre-Final. WINNER OF THE FINAL IS THE WINNER OF THE DAY FOR ALL CLASSES 5. DISTANCES Heat 1 8 Laps (KZ2 10 Laps) Heat 2 8 Laps (KZ2 10 Laps) Pre Final 10 Laps (KZ2 15 Laps) Final 15 Laps (KZ2 20 Laps) 6. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 6.1. Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 12 noon on Friday May 20 7. DRIVERS BRIEFING 7.1. Time: 8.15am Location: Out grid 8. FUEL 8.1. PULP and E10 PULP are the only fuels permitted to be used at this Meeting. 9. TIMETABLE Time Activity FRIDAY MAY 20TH 12 noon Gates open 1pm till 5pm Track available for practice 4pm till 6pm Driver registration, license check, scrutineering SATURDAY MAY 21ST 6am Gates open 7am till 8am Driver registration continues (closes at 8am) 8.15am Driver brief 8.45am Practice (5 minutes per class in race order) 10am Qualifying sessions begin (6 minutes per class in race order) 11.30am Heat 1 commences SUNDAY MAY 22ND 6am Gates open 7am Carburetion session in race order 8.15am Driver brief 8.45am Pre-finals commence 30 min. after racing Trophy presentation and prize draw 10. TROPHIES & PRIZES 10.1. a) Trophies for first 5 placegetters in each class. Random draw for prizes for most classes. Must be present at prize draw to be eligible. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. PADDOCK ALLOCATION Paddock allocation Will occur for the Meeting. Please refer to TKC official. 2. MEDICAL SERVICES Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track 2.1. please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Tiger Kart Club Gemma Rd, Henderson, WA 3. KART RETRIEVAL 3.1. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a HIGH 3.3. VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 3.4. Karts will be retrieved via TKC trolley persons 4. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. No animals allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the circuit. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the 4.4. entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. 4.6. Our Liquor License prohibits BYO alcohol.
