Hello Everyone, I want to extend a "Thank You" to all for attending our January meeting. It was well attended despite our 5 sickly members who called at the last minute indicating they could not attend. I hope you all are feeling better by now. The weather was perfect for driving our Thunderbirds to the meeting. Comparing our weather to the chilly Mid-West and the snowbound East Coast we have it pretty good here on the West Coast. The Private Room at Coco's provide us an opportunity to take our time, visit, eat, conduct our meeting and raffle. We also raffled off the remaining prizes from our Christmas Party. I want to "Thank" Arlis and Dianne for selling the raffle tickets. I also want to "Thank" Dianne (my better half) for taking charge of the raffle. That gave Mike McLucas and I a chance to eat our Birthday Pie. One of our traditions in the Newsletter is to announce your birthday in the corresponding month the Newsletter is released. Please provide Herman or myself with your birthday month and day if we don't have it on record. Don't worry, we will not ask what year. If you prefer to not be listed, we understand. I hope you all can attend the February meeting. As I write this Dennis and Dee Dee have not finalized their plans yet. No matter what is planned, we always have a good time getting together. See you at the February meeting. Happy Thunderbirding, Tim Roden, President CTCI #10159 BIRTHDAYS Jan: Mike McLucas = 5 Tim Roden = 7 Dennis Byrne = 10 Tim Gaughan =??? The January Sick Lame and Lazy Report: We wish Maryanne, Jim & Pat, Bob & Ellie a speedy recovery from the winter ailments that are going around. Ya ll get well soon...and BTW...Thank You for not sharing. Alert Have you gotten your Flu shot? The H1N1 virus can be deadly. The 1/10/2014 Press Democrat reported that a 23 year old Sonoma county resident was its latest victim. This is pretty close to home. Note...Member contributions to our newsletter are always welcome. Some clubs publish their members favorites recipes. Please help and share any Tech Tips, Ideas, Life Tip s or any useful information for our edification. Thank You... And a nice welcome to our newest members Debbie & Tim - 2002 Yellow Thunderbird. Dues are Due Prorated Dues... NEW members Only. www.thunderbirdsofsonoma.org

Greetings to Thunderbirds of Sonoma Members, Our January 2014 TOS meeting was held at Coco s Restaurant in Santa Rosa. Each member ordered off the extensive menu and everyone had an enjoyable lunch. Also, Tim announced that on the November ballot, there will be a proposal for a measure to raise money for road system to double the vehicle license fee for ALL cars.
