FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing Media Special Hazards from mixture Advice for firefighters Further information Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. This product is not defined as flammable or combustible; however, under fire conditions it may support combustion and produce toxic oxides of carbon and various hydrocarbons. As in any fire, prevent human exposure to fire, smoke, fumes, or products of combustion. Evacuate nonessential personnel from the fire area. Firefighters should wear positive pressure/pressure demand, selfcontained breathing apparatus and impervious protective clothing. If possible, remove containers from the fire area. Keep fire exposed containers cool with a water fog or spray to prevent excessive heat. High pressure water may spread product from broken containers increasing contamination or fire hazard.. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Protective equipment and emergency procedures For personal protection see Section 8. Environmental precautions Materials for containment and clean up Methods for cleanup containment Reference to other sections Avoid large concentrations of product in a confined area. Mop and/or absorbent materials Completely contain spilled material. Pump into approved containers or absorb and dispose of in approved containers. As all the ingredients contained are present in many household items small spills may be diluted and skewered. Dispose of in accordance with local and federal laws. See Section 13 for disposal procedures Page 2 of 5
