C-PLUNGER VALVE Function: To provide a modular multi-valve with high flow capacity, low head loss and capable of controlling fluid pressure accurately throughout its long service life. General Overview and Advantages: The C-Plunger Valve is a modular assembly comprised of 4 and more single valves type M1-PN20/PN30 mounted on a hydrodynamic manifold. This assembly enables to control pressure and high flow rate. The cross section of this chamber and the piston movement reduce continuously from inlet to the outlet. These movements control the rapid increase as flow speed rises and the pressure is protected. The C-Plunger Valve is automatically regulated through the pistons movement in each single valve, which in turn is operated hydraulically by the water pressure. The water flow is guided in around the pistons of the valve in an energy saving symmetry. The pistons are centrally positioned in the center of the valve, in a specially designed chamber to protect and avoid noise and cavitation damages. This characteristic also allows vibrations-free operation. The continuous piston movement reduces the inlet and the outlet cross section. This movement rapidly increases and decreases the flow rates and pressure. The geometrically ideal design protects the pipe line from the cavitation bubbles, which are damaging the valve and the connecting pipes. The C-Plunger Valve is working as one unit controlled by a single computerized controller or a single pilot that provide full functionality of all C-Valves tradition applications. The C-Plunger Valve is working total reliable even in the most arduous conditions. Adding Butterfly isolation valves allow maintenance without halting the water supply to the consumer. 3 Features: The quick acting M1 piston valve provides accurate flow control, stable pressure regulation and is reducing amortization and helps to prevent damage to pipeline systems. The C-Plunger Valve base plate pilot, and multi-valve are precision designed to work together for optimum performance Linear flow, low turbulence minimizes cavitation and allows much higher flow velocities while reducing noise generation. All surfaces in the flow chamber are corrosion proof and highly resistant to cavitation damages extending the service life in high duty applications High flow handling capability, allowing smaller multi-valves to be specified, thus reducing capital and installation costs Double chambered piston actuation system provides drip tight closure even when the command pressure is lower than the line pressure. Special soft closure allows rapid acting valve to shut off water with minimum risk of water hammer. Maintenance can be carried out by closing the isolation valves on each element in turn without taking the whole unit off-line. Valve removal requires opening only 4 bolts. The M1- C-Plunger Valve is supplied with Flange connection. True Normally Closed option that will ensure a multi-valve will fail closed if damage is caused to the pilot system, Normally Open valves defaults to fully open. Light weight valve elements ease installation and maintenance.
