RULES AND REGULATIONS Class Specifications. Every class offered herein, covered by the rules and regulations of the current CHSA, BHSA and VHSA Rule Books will be conducted and judged accordingly. Entry Fees. $40.00 per division. $20.00 individual classes. $20.00 CHSA Equitation classes. $10.00 per class Short Stirrup. $10.00 one-time for post/phone entry. VHSA Medal classes $25.00. Office fee $10.00 per horse/pony. Stalls. $40.00 per night, bedding not included. Includes schooling the day before the show in the show rings. Schooling. Will be permitted only in designated schooling areas. Schooling available from 6:30-8:00 a.m. prior to the show. Schooling available day before at $15.00/mount for those not taking stalls. Coggins Test. All exhibitors must present a Negative Coggins Test report taken within one year on each animal exhibited. Exhibitors. All exhibitors must wear ASTM/SEI protective headgear at all times while mounted on the show grounds. Proper attire and equipment expected; jackets may be excused at Judge s discretion. Awards. Six ribbons per class. Champion & Reserve Champion trophies and ribbons in all divisions. Points scored 5, 3, 2, 1 for championships and for each Association s Award program. Responsibilities. The Winslett Advantage, Rose Mount Farm, their officials and employees will not be responsible for any accident or loss which may occur to any exhibitor, spectator, rider, guest, groom, attendant or other employee, animal or equipment at the show. The show reserves to itself the right to decline to accept any entry and return any entry fees before or during the show without being liable for compensation; to change location, combine, cancel or limit any classes; or change any officials. Exhibitors acknowledge that they participate voluntarily, fully aware that horse sports involve inherent danger and risk. And by participating they expressly assume any and all risks of injury or loss. For your stall bedding needs, Snow Hill Farm will have shavings in 35lb. bags on the grounds at Rose Mount Farm for pick-up Friday and Saturday at $6.00 per bag. DIVISION SPECIFICATIONS All Hunter classes to be judged on performance and soundness with emphasis on suitability and manners in pony, Children s/jr. and Adult Amateur. A horse or pony must have entered and shown in at least one jumping class in a hunter division to be eligible for the Under Saddle class. All Hunter Over Fences classes to Jog, except Schooling, Jr/Am Schooling, Equitation, Ch. Pony Hunter, Ch/AA Hunter, Special, Low, Hopeful Hunter and Short Stirrup. CHSA Short Stirrup Equitation. Open to Juniors who have not reached their 13th birthday as of Dec. 1, 2009. To be judged on Equitation. The Champion and Reserve must have completed the course in at least one jumping class. Rider may cross-enter only into Pleasure and Short Stirrup Hunter; mount may cross enter Fences 18. CHSA/VHSA/BHSA Pony Equitation. Juniors only. Small ponies to jump 2 3, Medium to jump 2 6, Large to jump 2 9. A minimum of ¼ of the class return to hack. No cross-entry with CHSA Jr. Equitation. CHSA/VHSA/BHSA Junior Equitation. Juniors only. Fences 3. A minimum of ¼ of class return to hack. No cross-entry with CHSA Pony Equitation. CHSA/VHSA/BHSA Adult Amateur Equitation. Adult Amateurs only. Fences 3.
