VICHY www.tuttoarabi.com by Fabio Brianzoni z photos by Paola Drera Also this year Mr. Daniel Souppat, the show patron and President of the French ACAS (Association du Cheval Arabe de Show) and his wife Christiane warmly welcomed the participants to the Vichy International Arabian Horse Show B starting from Friday when all the people involved in the show - handlers, drivers, grooms and their partners - were invited to the dinner offered by ACAS at the showground s restaurant. Under the patronage of His Highness Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi, and thanks to all the sponsors who supported the show and contributed to its success, the show was held on 28th and 29h July in an enthusiastic atmosphere inside the Equestrian Stadium of Sichon, totally elegantly renewed using sand ground and new enclosures for jumping of worldwide level. This year the show celebrated his 7th anniversary as an international B Show Echao. The passion and the dedication that Souppat family puts in the organisation of thi event are great and thanks to their efforts also this year guests enjoyed two extraordinary and unforgettable days. Mr. Daniel Souppat, his wife Christians, their son Sylvain and his wife Carine received congrats by all judges and by the staff for the way thei managed the whole event and the entertainment for the guests. Saturday as every year a gala dinner was offered to the guests at Celestine hotel in a relaxed atmosphere. This year the suggestion was the Serata Italiana with the band Via Sud who involved the guests singing the most famous Italian songs playing guitar and mandolino. The show was really international with a very high level of horses. This years 12 Coutries participated and we noticed a great presence of Italian and French horses. At 9 a.m., Saturday the show began on time with yearlings, colts, fillies and mares classes, all judged by the A class judges Mr. Francesco Santoro (Italy), Mr. Jerzy Bialobok (Poland), Mr. Richard Pilhstrom (France), Mr. Koenraad Detailleur (Belgium). The ring master was Mr. Alain Ladek, who everybody remembers as the ring master in red uniform at the Paris show. The Arabian sound designer was Mrs. Alizée Huet. The Secretary Office was managed, loyally and professionally as always, by Mrs. Christiane Durand-Souppat (who is also the artistic director of every gala dinner) that was really eccelent in every moment. Delicious luches an dinners were offered to the officials during the 2 days event. This year the streaming and the scoring on the video were managed by Arabian Horse Results and the speakering were committed to the voice of Mr. Guy De Fontaine, French mothertongue who also perfectly speaks English and Arab, detail that international guests really like. The DC was made by Dr. Vet. Malak Benamar (Morocco), Dr. Vet. Hodenq (France) and Mr. Gijs EgginK (Belgium). Next year Tutto Arabi will be for sure present once again at this great show. We ll be grateful to all who will participate with us to the show and share the atmosphere of joy of this event because just thanks to the participants, sponsors and Arabian horse lovers this show will remain at its usual high level. Our thanks goes to the organizers who strive all years for offering to their guests the best show and hospitality possible. And they do it! They deserve the best support by the City of Vichy and by all to continue to give us this traditional summer appointment with Arabian horses.
