VBMA General Secretary presented members questions and feedbacks about market operation to governmental regulators, Hanoi Stock Exchange, Vietnam Securities Depository and discussed solutions to promote market development.
The 8th Interbank Offsite From the 10th to 12th of June 2015 in Furama, Pullman and Premier Village Resort, Da Nang, the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) held the 8th Interbank Offsite, attracting more than 500 participants from over 90 foreign and domestic financial organizations as well as VBMA s guests. The first activity of the 8th Interbank Offsite was the Workshop Vietnam Financial Market: Trend and Focus held in the afternoon of the 10th of June. With more than 200 participants and experts from domestic and regional markets, the Workshop discussed extensively about the appplication of electronic trading, new products in the Vietnam financial market and the trend of the market in the later half of 2016. After the Workshop, hundreds of Interbank Offsite participants took part in the Interbank Pool Party, organized for the very first time in the evening of the 10th of June. On the 11th of June, a series of sporting and entertaining events took place including: Da Nang Village Tour, VBMA-Saxo Interbank Golf Tournament, Interbank Tennis Tournament, Interbank Football Match, Interbank Poker Tournament and the Gala Dinner in the evening. At the Gala Dinner, participants had the opportunity to enjoy unique, well-prepared Interbank Got Talent performances as well as performances put up by professional singers and dancers. Two lucky audiences of the Gala Dinner received 1 ipad Mini and 1 iphone SE after the Lucky Draw activities. Also at the Gala Dinner, the charity auction raised VND 88 million from Interbank philanthropists. VBMA Charity boxes helped raise more than VND2.9 million, these fund would be used to support the reconstruction of the Sủng Chớ B School in Sủng Cháng Commune, Hà Giang Sponsors for Interbank Offsite 2016: The VBMA Interbank Pool Party, part of the 8th Interbank Offsite. In the evening of the 10th of June, after the end of the Workshop Vietnam Financial Market: Trend and Focus, the VBMA Interbank Pool Party was held for the first time.
Here Interbank Offsite participants could not only enjoy entertaining performances but also demonstrate their own enthusiasm and liveliness in the Interbank Step-up Competition. From 6 attending couples, the judges and audiences chose the most deserving as the winner and awarded the couple with 2 iphone SEs. The VBMA-Saxo Interbank Golf Tournament, within the 8th Interbank Offsite In the morning of Saturday June 11, 2016 within the framework of the 8th Interbank Offsite, VBMA with the sponsor of Saxo Capital Markets organized the Golf Interbank Tournament in Montgomerie Links Vietnam Golf Club. More than 50 Vietnamese and foreign golfers participated in this tournament, divided in to 03 Divisions: A, B and C. Two football clubs namely Gia Bac Tre Nam and Tre Nam Gia Bac were established to compete in this tournament. After a 90-minute friendly match, the Già Bắc Trẻ Nam club won and became the Champion of 2016. The Interbank Tennis Tournament, within the 8th Interbank Offsite In the morning of 11th of June 2015, VBMA organized the Interbank Tennis Tournament as one of the sport activities of Interbank Offsite 2015 at Tuyen Son Sport Complex, Da Nang City. There were 20 male pairs taking part in the Tournament, divided into 5 divisions.
