Halloween at Tinc Road!!! Tinc Families: Get your cameras and costumes ready, because we are gearing up for our Halloween Parade! Costume Information: Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2018 Time: 2:15 PM Place: Tinc Road School Students should arrive to school with their costumes. With teacher approval, parents coming to help with putting costumes on should not arrive prior to 1:30. Please consider safety and developmental appropriateness when choosing a costume for your child. If he/she is wearing a mask, make sure he/she can see well enough to walk safely. Check that costumes do not trail on the ground. Our children should not wear or bring a toy weapon of any kind as part of their costume, such as plastic guns, swords, knives, etc. Avoid any costumes that drip fake blood or that would cause fear for younger Tinc peers. Parade Route Information: Family and friends are invited to view our parade. You may even want to come in costume (please adhere to the guidelines above). To view the parade, please click the attached map. The parade will begin at the Kindergarten door. Students will walk the perimeter of the playground and enter back into the building through the 5 th grade door. Parents are welcome to line up anywhere on the school grounds that does not prevent students from following the parade route. All of our students participate in the parade. AM Kindergarten students will have their own indoor parade in the morning. If it dares to rain on Halloween, parents will be asked to go to the gymnasium, where the students will parade around the perimeter. Halloween Parties: Class parties will take place immediately after the parade. We encourage healthy, peanut free treats. The room parents will be communicating with the classroom teachers regarding appropriate snacks for the party. Unfortunately, we do not have enough room to invite any extra guests to the classroom parties, including younger siblings. Parties will conclude at the end of the day at 3:30, when children are dismissed from school. Operation Gratitude If you have leftover Halloween candy that you would like to donate, bring it in on Nov 1 st and 2 nd. We will be sending care packages and writing letters to our troops!

Get your pictures in the yearbook! Help us capture as many memories from the 2018/2019 school year as possible! Thank you, and enjoy the rest of the school year! Sincerely, Danielle Friedman and Trish Bednarik, Yearbook Advisers The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book. The last day to submit photos is 05/01/2019. Please note that photos must be taken at school for yearbook submission.
