Summary of 2006-07 26 competitive teams AA - 7 teams - 6 teams made play-offs (of note: Minor Midget 2nd place finish, Minor Pee Wee 4th place finish) A - 7 teams - 6 teams made play-offs (of note: Minor Bantam 2nd place finish, Minor Midget 2nd place finish) B - 12 teams - 8 teams made play-offs (of note: Minor Pee Wee teams finished in 2nd and 3rd place, Minor Bantams in 3rd place) - special note: 1) Minor Pee Wee Red coached by Jaime Squirrel lost out in the playoff Finals to Gloucester 2) Minor Midgets coached by Stephen Bobyn lost out in the play-off Finals to Orleans Tournament Successes - Major Atom B White - won George Bell Tournament in Toronto in February - Minor Pee Wee B Red - finalists at the Boston Challenge Cup in January - Major Pee Wee A - won the Kanata Sensplex tournament in January - Minor Pee Wee A - won the Grimsby Boston Pizza Classic in January - Minor Bantam B - won the Goulbourn Mid-Season Challenge in November - Major Bantam A - won the Bracebridge tournament in December - Major Pee Wee A - finalists in the North American Fall Championship in Marlboro, Mass. in November - Minor Midget B - won the Toronto Ice Dogs annual Fall Classic in November - Major Atom A - won the Belleville Competitive A tournament in November - Minor Midget A - won the Kingston Ambassador Cup Tournament in November - Major Bantam A - won the Belleville Tournament of Champions in October - Major Pee Wee A - won the Toronto Avalanche Thanksgiving Challenge in October Honourable Mentions - to Matt Lafleur (Minor Midget AA): selected as 1 of 12 players from the ODHA to attend the Under-17 Team Ontario Provincial Camp late in June - to Andrew Calof (Minor Midget AA): drafted by the Mississauga Ice Dogs in the 9th round of the 2007 OHL Priority Selection on May 5th. Technical program - introduction of Off-Ice program with Greco's in 2006 - introduction of a separate Goalie Evaluation night during tryouts in 2006 - introduction of a new In-Season Goalie instruction program - introduction of power skating sessions for Atom players - delivery of '3-on-3' program in April and May - introduction of a new Spring Goalie Clinic - introduction of a new Novice and Atom Spring Power Skating session Plans for 2007-08 Technical Program - continue to build upon what was run in 2006-07 - introduction of a new NMHA Summer Camp - Bantam and Midget Prep camps - Goalie Only Prep Camp

The NMHA is one of the larges associations in Canada with - 27 Novice 22 Atom 24 Peewee 24 Bantam 21 Midget 6 Juvenile 16 Initiation and 26 Competitive teams. The on line registration system was not available in time for our registration this season, however, it will be ready in a month or two. We expect the on line payment option will be fully operational during the season. House League -NIL Tournaments-NIL $ / - 1 +$ / 4 * 1 - + $ " / 0+ SECOND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT When: Sunday, August 12, 2007 12:30 pm start tee off times TBD. Where: Cedarhill Golf and Country Club, 56 Cedarhill Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2R 1C5 18 holes of golf Best Ball Format Prizes for men s and ladies longest drive and closest to the pin as well as plenty of various door prizes. Individual Championship trophies for the winners and prizes for the most honest team. Golf Cart and 2 water bottles A roast beef buffet, Caesar and Chef salad, Penne Pasta, Sweet Thai Pork Stir-fry, roasted potatoes and vegetable of the day with desert and Coffee/Tea.
