South Sound Sea Hawkers Newsletter Issue 6 June 2018 May Bunco Party Twenty-three bunco players were at the May Bunco party on May 20th. The May Bunco had a good turnout and everyone had fun. Brian barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and everyone brought something to go with them. We made $520.00 for our charity for May, FLASH. Raffle items that were given away. Central Council Updates From the President June is a new month for us to have a meeting. I hope you all can make it, let s make it a success! Sea Hawkers Central Council meeting was held June 6. Among items discussed were the formation of a Chapter Compliance Committee to look into Chapters that aren t using the right logo. Elise, VP Entertainment, gave an update on the Picnic. Each chapter is requested to bring a $25 gift for raffle. Sea Hawkers will provide the main dish and will send out an email for sides. Volunteers are needed for manning the booth for Training Camp. An email will be sent out with more information.

May Bunco pictures June BUNCO Hope to see everyone at Bunco on June 24. The club is providing Polynesian meatballs, fried rice and pot stickers.. Please feel free to bring a complimentary dish. There are cash prizes for most buncos, most and least wins. Tickets will be sold for several raffle prizes. Check out the flyer attached. Come have great fun playing bunco. You don t need to know how to play, it is very easy to learn. It was decided to have a June meeting, which will be June 19. No meeting in July. Next meeting will be August 21. Sea Hawkers event August 11, 2018 Wild Waves, 36201 Enchanted Parkway South Federal Way, WA 98003 $35 per ticket which includes a return ticket for Fright Fest or Holiday Lights and lunch which will include cheeseburger with hotdog with two sides, potato chips, cookie, water and soft drink. Parking $12 in advance.

BUNCO Our next Bunco is Sunday June 24. Please let Sue Farley know if you will be attending and how many so we can plan the food. Check out the attached flyer. The last Bunco will be Sunday, July 15th. Be sure to come and enjoy the fun. We don t have any idea on price yet as we have to wait for parking to become available. The bus leaves 2.5 hours before game time from 78th and Hosmer. We have beer, pop and a football board. Seahawk Raffle Items If you see different Seahawk items on sale, pick them up for the raffle and you will be reimbursed by the club. He s always got a smile on his face he will tell you like it is no holding back lol, will give up his day to make someone else s day better. A lot of people don t know how much adversity he s been through, but I know first hand. I won t go into detail, but believe me it would be tough for me to still keep a smile on my face if I had to walk in his shoes. Always a giving man that is driven to help others even when he could use a little help once in awhile himself.
