All new members will be n prbatin their first year and then becme a full member upn being vted in by the League including ur Cde f Cnduct and must meet ur dues and attendance requirements. During prbatinary year schl is nt eligible fr turnament play. Dues: Annual dues are $40 per team in the league and a $70 misc. fee. Attendance: Tw seasnal meetings are held in September and April. While attendance is required at these meetings. If a member misses tw meetings in ne year a letter f prbatin will be sent t the schl. This will mean that yur schl may nt participate in the league turnament play the fllwing year. Officers: The Officers shall cnsist f a President / Treasurer; Vice President: and Secretary. Every Odd year at the Spring meeting a nminatin prcess fr each psitin shall take place. Participatin: An athlete is expected t participate in nly ne sprt at ne level n any given day. Exceptins shuld be cleared in advance with the ppsing Athletic Directr and the President. An athlete may nt participate simultaneusly n mre than ne schl team during a single seasn. Eligibility:

Scuting: Althugh verbal cntact between schls is allwed, scuting (including viewing a cntest r film) f future ppnents withut the permissin f all the Athletic Directrs invlved is prhibited. Officials: All schls must use the member bards with which they have cntracts fr fficials. Schls shuld g t ther bards nly when it has been determined service can nt be prvided by the abve. Scheduling: Rules guiding Pegging dates are as fllws: Fall: Start at the secnd Saturday in Nvember and then, cunt backwards. Winter: Start at the first Saturday in December and then, cunt frward. Start at the last Saturday in January, first cunt backward and then, cunt frward thrugh the furth Saturday in February. Spring: Start at the furth Saturday in May and then, cunt backward. Teams need t hnr the dates f scheduled games. Teams are nt permitted t cancel nn HVAL games in rder t play a make up HVAL game, unless the nn HVAL game can be reschedule t anther date. Unifrms: Clrs are t be wrn at hme and white is t be wrn n the rad. Prbatin: Any member that is n prbatin WILL NOT be allwed t participate in the playffs. Sprtsmanship: Sprtsmanship is very imprtant t the members f the Hudsn Valley Athletic League. When teams are winning by 20 pints in basketball we expect that yu are nt pressing, When yur team is up by 30 late in the game we expect that yu are playing yur lwer level players. At the end f each year each schl will vte n the ther schls n their sprtsmanship By giving them a value f 1 10, with 10 being the best (each schl culd have the same number).
