TEAM PARTIES / OTHER SATURDAY, 2/9: GIRLS VARSITY MID-HUDSON CHRISTIAN ATHLETIC LEAGUE TOURNAMENT AT FCA AT 12:30PM. The Third Place Game between Upton Lake Christian School and Tabernacle Christian Academy will start at 11:00AM. The CHAMPIONSHIP GAME between FCA and the Dutchess County Homeschoolers will start at 12:30PM. Our CHEERLEADERS will cheer for the Championship Game at 12:30PM. GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL GAME AT NYMA VS. THE HYDE SCHOOL AT 5PM. This is a great opportunity to play a NEPSAC (New England Prep School Athletic Council) team to improve our position in the New England Prep School Rankings. The top 8 team in Class E will be invited to the NEPSAC Championship Tournament. We are currently ranked 8 th in Class E. We will leave FCA after the MHCAL game at approximately 2:15PM and will stop to eat and arrive at NYMA early to be ready for the game. We will use an FCA Van. Please bring food money. We expect to be back at FCA at approximately 7:30PM.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE NOTES: 1. SPACKENKILL GYM PRACTICES: A reminder that when any team has practice at our Spackenkill Gym, we will bring Team members to the gym from FCA on FCA vans. Parents can pick up at our Spackenkill gym or at FCA. We will be back at FCA 20 minutes after the scheduled end time for that practice. 2. FCA ATHLETICS WEBSITE: Please check our FCA Athletics Website. Our weekly schedule and our Master Game Schedules are on the website and are updated daily. All of the website will be updated soon. Go to the School Website and then go to Athletics. For Game Schedules, scroll down to Click for Link to the Master Schedule. The Team Up calendar has all team s game schedules and is updated daily. When you click on a game, details and the address for the game is also included. The website will also have pictures and weekly highlights and schedule changes. 3. INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL: For grades 3-5. We will practice one day per week on a Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday from 3:30-5PM. We will play 4-6 games. PRACTICE THIS WEEK IS WEDNESDAY 2/6 AT OUR SPACKENKILL GYM FROM 3:30-5:00PM / 3:15PM VAN. THERE IS NO GAME THIS WEEK. THERE WILL BE A GAME NEXT WEDNESDAY AT FCA AT 5:45PM. 4. WINTER SPORTS PARTICIPATION FEES will be billed on our FCA FACTS system in the next week or so. The Athletic participation fee is $85 for each season. The fee is $50 for Intramural sports and cheerleading. 5. FAN CLOTH LAST CHANCE SALE HAS ENDED: The Fancloth Last Chance sale has ended. All items will be received later this week. We will be handing items out to those who ordered items later this week.

6. FALL SEASON UNIFORMS: Uniforms not returned are in the process of being billed. The cost of each uniform is $50-$75 on our FCA FACTS System. 7.SKI/SNOWBOARD TRIP DATES & INFO: season goes on.) (MAY LEAVE EARLIER FROM JIMINY PEAK TO COME HOME) MAY ADD A TRIP ON FRIDAY MARCH 15 DEPENDING ON SKI CONDITIONS. POTTER BROTHERS ON ROUTE 9 IN FISHKILL HAS A $150 SEASON RENTAL DEAL less for snow boards. The Fishkill Potter brothers phone number is (845) 297-2941. FULL PRICES FOR SKIING AND RENTALS WILL BE SENT FOR EACH TRIP ON THE WEEKLY SCHEDULE. Jiminy Peak is $45 for

evening lift ticket and $45 for rentals. $25 for just helmet / $10 if also renting skis or a snowboard. Catamount evening lift ticket is $33 for 14 and under, and $36 for over 14. Evening rentals at Catamount are $30 for junior 14 and under and $36 for over 14. With 15 skiers/snowboarders at Catamount we will qualify for a group rate and the price drops to $25 for the lift ticket. SEASON RENTALS CAN SAVE MONEY IF YOU ARE GOING ON 5 TRIPS. BRING ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR FOOD. 8. Bowling Match Schedule : Feb. 6 at Tarsio Lanes hosted by NYMA Feb. 13 at FCA Feb. 20 at Tarsio lanes hosted by Storm King MAY BE A MAKE UP SCHEDULED FOR THE JANUARY 30 DATE THAT WAS SNOWED OUT FCA, New York Military Academy and Storm King will compete in all 6 matches. ALL MATCHES ARE ON WEDNESDAYS. HOME MATCHES START AT 3:30PM. AWAY MATCHES START AT 4PM. No Cost for bowling. You may want to bring snack money for the concession stand for matches at Tarsio Lanes. We expect to be back at FCA at approximately 6:30-7PM. WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS: Congratulations to our Boys Varsity team who won the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League Championship Game over Upton Lake Christian School by a score of 66-48. Dalton Lois led all scorers with 21 points. Justin Drews was named by the referees as a Tournament MVP. Caden Brandl received the Christian Character Award. The team also won the Regular Season League Title. Congrats also to Coaches Andrew Gilman and Elmer Castellanos.

Congratulations to our Girls Varsity team who won the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League Regular Season League Title over the Dutchess County Homeschooled Team. The teams had identical records. FCA won by virtue of a higher point differential between the two teams. Congratulations also to Coaches Brianna DeCarmine and Melanie Nash. The girls also won the League Semi-Final Game over TCA this past week and will play the Dutchess County Homeschooled team this Saturday at FCA at 12:30PM in the MHCAL League Championship Game. Congratulations to our Boys Middle School/JV team who won the Mid-Hudson Christian Athletic League Regular Season League Title. The team finished 2 nd in the League Tournament in a hard fought game with Upton lake. Hunrt Knauf was named as a Tournament MVP by the referees. Marc Jiminez received the Christian Character Award. Congratulations also to Coaches Ron DeVincenzi and Prince Brock.
