POOLS, PUB & DOUBLE L BAR Tapatio Springs Members receive access to the Resort Pool, Double L Bar, Fitness Center, Pure Sol Spa, Adult Only Pool, and the all new Pub which features live music twice a month. The Resort Pool is an ideal sunny retreat for families and friends. You ll find a shallow splash area, a 20 foot waterslide, and a soft play area ideal for little ones. Private poolside cabanas are available to enjoy with friends, or for parties and special events. The Resort Pool is heated and open year-round, weather permitting. For poolside fare, Double L Bar is located at the Resort Pool, and you ll find the new Pub near the Adult Pool and Fitness Center. AN ORIGINAL ONCE AGAIN The Tapatio Springs Golf Course renovation is the centerpiece to the transformation of San Antonio s original destination resort. All of the improvements were envisioned and overseen by Tripp Davis and Associates, known for their unique, hands-on approach to the restoration of historic courses around the world. Our 18-hole championship golf course is truly a thing of beauty. It is tremendously fun to play and challenging for all skill levels. All 18 holes provide dramatic elevation changes and panoramic views of some of the tallest hills in the area at 1,900 feet. #6 Par 4 384 yards Panoramic views surround you throughout the course, even when putting the difficult 6th green. ENHANCED VISUAL CHARACTER 72 tees were leveled and re-sodded. 54 tees were relocated for better site lines and player alignment. Many tees were enlarged to significantly reduce wear and tear. #10 Par 5 504 yards This Hill Country classic falls more than 100 feet in elevation and is guarded by an assortment of bunkers that make this a true risk/reward Par 5. 16 bunkers were removed and 47 strategically added. More than 240,000 square feet of 419 Bermuda grass surround our tee and bunker renovations. More than 42,000 square feet of industry leading bunker design materials were installed. Over 1,200 tons of Pro Choice Bunker Sand was meticulously sculpted. P.0 4
CREATURE COMFORTS GPS touch-screen navigation in all the golf carts allows you to visualize each hole, keep real time scores and order whatever you like prior to the turn. A completely renovated driving range with 20,000 square feet of natural turf, 23 stations with the industries best artificial turf and 6 reconfigured target greens were added. The full service Pro Shop, staffed with PGA professionals, is fully stocked with the latest in golf equipment and apparel to enhance your wardrobe or improve your game. #12 Par 4 296 yards Challenge the green with your tee shot or lay-up to your ideal yardage on this stunningly beautiful hole with elevated views of Tapatio Springs. The all new Tapatio Springs Mobile Kitchen, located next to the Pro Shop just behind the driving range, serves up everything from tacos to Texas barbecue, and is the perfect place to grab a bite and brew after a great round of golf. THE NEW CLUBHOUSE Opening Summer 2019, the new Clubhouse will serve as the hub for relaxation, respite, and reconnection. The rolling hills, wildflower landscapes, and limestone cliffs all serve as inspiration for the new design, which blends traditional forms and patterns with unexpected details that will keep the spaces current while maintaining Tapatio Spring s sense of place. The New Clubhouse will feature La Cascade Restaurant & Bar with indoor/outdoor dining and twice the space, a private dining room with amazing views, a purpose built stage under the live oak, double the event spaces, a new arrival porte cochere, new Member-only fitness center adjacent to the locker rooms, a significantly larger Pro Shop, and abundant natural light throughout.
