Financial Report: Financial Report same financial report from spring meeting read. Motion: Request a motion from the floor stating The operating and investment accounts for the Parkissimo Hockey League will be held at the Sunrise Credit Union in Virden for the 2010-11 season. Signing authority on the said account(s) will be Suzanne Chapman (Treasurer) and either Keith Orr (President) and Brenda Orr (Secretary) Motion: Craig Lane Virden Seconded: Craig Strathclair 3. Statistician Report: Greg Nesbitt and/or Ryan Nesbitt will be the statistician for the Parkissimo League. Reminder to towns with 2 teams in one division to specify team name on gamesheet Home Team fax in game sheet ASAP to statistician to update website.
4. Old Business: Constitution Changes Voted on as follows: Trophies: Item #1 Motion: Amend to read... The League will supply Champions and Finalist banner for the Squirt Tournament Craig Strathclair Seconded: Rob Tri-town Fees and Bonds: Item #8 Motion: Amend to read... A team that drops from the League less then 2 weeks prior to the League start date will forfeit its association bond. Grand Plains Seconded: Item #2 Motion: Amend to read...a member association without a representative at a meeting will be fined $100.00 Rob Tri-Town Seconded: Bruce-Hamiota Item #5 Motion: Amend to read...in the case of defaulted games the offending association will be fined $300.00. $200.00 will be paid to the association affected by the default and $100.00 to the league. Derek Foxwarren Seconded: By-Laws: Item #7 Motion: Add to end of #7 No applications will be accepted after the fall meeting. Mike Onanole/Erickson Seconded: Dean Birtle League Games: Item #7 Motion: Add the following to this section...no overtime is played during regular season. If a game is tied after regulation time it will remain a tie and points will be awarded as identified in item #4. Carberry Seconded: Hamiota Playoffs: Item #5 Motion: Add the following to this section...if a game is tied after regulation time overtime will be played in the following format. A 10-minute sudden death overtime period will be played. If the game remains tied, the ice will be re-surfaced and 20-minute sudden death overtime periods will be played until a winner is declared. All overtime periods will be stop-time. 5. New Business: League Fees will remain the same as last year - $40.00 per team for members and $80.00 per team for non-members. There will be no maximum. League Start and End Dates League will start on October 30, 2010 and end February 6, 2011. Make-up games will be from Feb. 7-13, 2011. Playoffs to start Feb. 14, 2011, with the option of starting earlier (In the event that games are done, teams can start playoffs during the week of make-up games.) Correspondence from Members none at this time Correspondence from Non-Members Requests to join the league representatives spoke on behalf of the following: - 2 Novice, 2 Atom, 1 A PeeWee, 1 AA PeeWee, Bantam, Midget Ste.Rose Novice,Atom, PeeWee, Bantam Brandon PeeWee, Midget McCreary Novice, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam Grand Plains PeeWee, Bantam (Roblin/GrandPlains) Onanole/Erickson Novice Rossburn Squirts? Rapid City Novice WayWay Squirts, Midget The above towns left the room and it was voted to accept all the above teams for the 2010-2011 season with the exception of the AA PeeWee team. Suggested to that they could enter 2 equal PeeWee A teams and create a third roster team for tournaments/provincials etc. stated that they would just have the one A PeeWee team for the 2010-2011 season.

6. Playoff Format Playoff format was discussed and decided on as follows: Final Round of playoffs crossover East gets home ice advantage in 2011 playoffs. Novice: Champion side - top four teams - 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3, Cross-over for final series only Consolation Side - 8 vs. 9 in 1 game playoff (#8 will be home team) 5 vs 8, 6 vs 7 Cross-over for final series only Atom: Champion side top four teams 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3 - cross-over for final series only Consolation side 6 vs. 7 best of 3 winner vs. 5 best of 3 - crossover for final series PeeWee: Champion side top four teams 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3 cross-over for final series only Consolation side - 5 vs. 6 best of 3 cross-over for final series (Note: if end up with 7 teams 1 game playoff 6 vs. 7 winner vs. 5) Bantam: Champions Side - Top 6 teams 1 st & 2 nd get a bye 3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5 1 st plays lowest seeded team out of that round Consolation Side 8 vs. 11 and 9 vs. 10 7.
