6 MEASUREMENTS 6.1 Yachts shall be available fr measurement r bat check n the days listed belw and fr a randm check n any day during the racing. 6.2 Measurement and inspectin: Days and dates Tuesday Aug 29 Frm 10h00 t 18h00 Thursday Aug31 6.3 Each bat shall prduce a valid measurement certificate. 7 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Sailing instructins will be available at the race ffice frm Tuesday Aug 29, 10h00. 8 VENUE The sailing area is lcated in the Baie de Béndet 9 THE COURSE The curses will be a Windward-Leeward cnfiguratin with an ffset mark. Three upwind legs and three dwnwind legs are t be sailed. (See Class Rules fr details) 10 PENALTY SYSTEM 10.1 Racing rule 44.1 is changed s that the Tw-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty. 10.2 Decisins f the internatinal jury will be final as prvided in rule 70.5. 11 SCORING : 12 SUPPORTS BOAT Scandinavian Gld Cup: Races:The races are t be sailed n cnsecutive days, by having up t tw races per day. After three races a yacht, which has nt wn a race shall n lnger cmpete. Winner: The yacht which first wins three races shall be declared the winner. Ryal Kaag Classic Cup and Hanke Evlutin Cup: Lw pint scring accrding t Wrld Sailing RRS shall apply withut discard. Six races are scheduled. Three races are required t make a valid winner. Supprts Bats are nt allwed t enter the racing area
13 BERTHING Yachts shall be kept in their assigned places while they are in the harbur. [DP] 14 HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS All yachts shall be aflat befre 17:00 n the day prir the first scheduled race day and shall nt be hauled ut during the series except with and accrding t the terms f prir written permissin f the Jury. [DP] 15 DIVING EQUIPMENT AND PLASTIC POOLS Underwater breathing apparatus and plastic pls r their equivalent shall nt be used arund keelbats between the preparatry signal f the first race and the end f the regatta. [DP] 16 RADIO COMMUNICATION 16.1 Except in an emergency, a bat shall neither make radi transmissins while racing nr receive radi cmmunicatins nt available t all bats. This restrictin als applies t mbile telephnes. [DP] 16.2 The RC will use VHF radi t cmmunicate t the fleet, including the lcatin f the starting area, cuntdwn t the start, General Recalls and Pstpnements. Failure t make these bradcasts r failure t hear them shall nt cnstitute grunds fr granting redress. This change rule 62.1. 16.3 VHF channel 72 will be used t cmmunicate with cmpetitrs. 17 PRIZES Prizes will be given as prvided in the cups and champinship rules. A special Vintage Prize will be given t the fastest classic bat that has n separate rudder. 18 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Cmpetitrs participate in the regatta entirely at their wn risk. See rule 4, Decisin t Race.
