Crescent Run Connection DECEMBER 2018 8500 E. Southern Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85209 ~ Phone: 480-373-8500 ~ Fax: 312-205-1229 www.hometownamerica.com/crescent Run By the time most of you read this, the Thanksgiving Holiday will be over and everyone will be preparing for the upcoming Christmas holidays. Let me be one of the first to wish you and all of yours a joyous Holiday Season. Please be safe and remember that everyone else is celebrating too. I think that this would be a good time to remind everyone that with the upcoming season, we will be experiencing more traffic, out of town visitors, and impatient people that have little respect for others. It is the nature of the beast. PLEASE be part of the solution, not the problem. Take care when you are out driving. Use your signals. If you drive slowly, drive in the proper right lane. If you drive fast, slow down. If you question whether you should be driving, you probably shouldn't. Be responsible and considerate and allow everyone to have a happy holiday season. Also as a reminder to all of our Residents. If you have visitors coming to stay with you over the Holiday season, they must be registered with the Community Office in order to use any of the facilities. It is a simple process and only takes a few minutes to complete the paperwork, but in that way we know who is here and they are aware of our rules. Finally, please inform all of your visitors that overnight street parking is prohibited. Additional parking spots are located throughout the community and these must be used for extended stay and overnight parking. We do not want emergency vehicles to be restricted from accessing anyone's home in the event of an emergency, so once again, please be considerate of your neighbors. From all of us in the Front Office, from all of our Front Gate personnel, and Rob in Maintenance have a great Holiday Season and a fantastic New Year. Please join us in welcoming the following new residents: Tom Mullen & Deb Rhoads Paula Smith Terry Rigney, Community Manager

Computer Club News By Howard Hinz I have some good news for the 65% to 70% of us that are full-time residents. We now have a place to get rid of our hazardous waste. City of Mesa has opened a full time Hazardous Waste Facility on Center Street, north of downtown. When you drive there, just keep going north because the facility is just north of Loop 202, on Center Street. The hours are a little hinky but it works. The hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to Noon. For us computer geeks, we have a place to get rid of old computers and electronic paraphernalia. The page to the right is quite emphatic about Mesa Residents Only. (Full size copies available at the office). I was down there a couple of weeks ago and they checked my drivers license thoroughly to make sure I was a resident. For non-residents, electronic recycling still depends on Best Buy, Staples, et al. No more long lines at the once a year recycling event where we waited in line for an hour or more!!! Yea!!! If you are considering selling your home or if your home has been up for sale for some time and you have had no interest, please contact the Community Office. Perhaps we can help. Hometown America s Pre-owned Brokerage Service has been very successful in selling our listed homes. Get the most for your home. Our professional service will sell your home for a 5% commission (or minimum fee of $1500). Get professional advice on how the home should be presented and what it is worth. If you are looking for an easy, non-stressful way to sell your home give us a call or stop in at the front desk.
