BIG POSSIBLE pressed the pace outside, got shaken off after three furlongs, and ran on evenly late. TOWNIE was well placed behind the leaders inside, and lacked the needed response coming off the turn. OUR BOSS was no factor two wide. WHITE SMOKE hit the right side of the gate and broke two to three lengths behind the others, and was always outrun. ONE BAD HOMBRE was outrun throughout three wide.

GRAY GRANITE chased two to three wide for a half-mile, and was not persevered with in the lane when hopelessly beaten. MYFRANCESCA vied three wide for lead shortly after start then lost action and steadied approaching turn, rated racing in range through backstretch, made move at three eighths pole, roused along outside then lugged in late driving left handed. MAYBELLE taken back through early stages, picked up pace racing two to three wide in far turn, shifted out wider upper stretch and had mild improve. WAR ROSE dueled for the lead entering first turn, continued to battle with GOLDEN TAP into final turn, shook off rival while taking on challenge from TEENAGE IDOL, battled back into stretch then weakened under prolonged pressure. TEENAGE IDOL raced in stalking position off top two leaders, moved up near quarter pole to challenge for lead, battled back into stretch then gave way in final sixteenth.
