( 21 الا ن ياء سورة 35 35 ت ر ج ع ون إ ل ن ا و ف ن ة ل ن ف س ذ اي ق ة الم و ت و ن ب ل وك م ب ا لش ر و الخ ير Every living being has to taste death, and We are putting all of you to trial by passing you through good and bad conditions, and ultimately you shall return to Us. ( 55 الرحمن سورة ل م ن ل ي ه ا ف ان 27 27 و ج ه ر ب ك ذ و الج لا ل و الا ك ر ا ام م ي ب و 26 26 All that exists on the earth will perish. Only your Lord, possessed of majesty and honor, will remain for ever. When their appointed time comes, they shall not be able to put it back or forward by a single moment. And has it never occurred to them that their life might have come near to its end? Then what else can there be in which they will believe after this warning of the Messenger? Page 5 of 29 approaches; then the angels sent by Him take away his soul and do not show the least negligence in the performance of their duty. Then all are brought back to Allah, their real Master. Beware of it that the sole authority of passing judgment rests with Him alone and He is the swiftest at reckoning. At that time We are closer to him than you, but you do not see Us. Then, if the dying person is of those nearest to Us, for him there is comfort and good provision and the blissful Garden. And if he is of the people of the right hand, he is greeted with "Peace be to you: You are of the people of the right!" Allah makes such things a cause of grief and anguish in their hearts: for in fact, it is Allah who ordains both life and death; Allah is watching all that you do. If you are slain or die in the way of Allah, you will get Allah's forgiveness and mercy which are far better than all the things they amass. Anyhow, you shall be gathered together before Allah whether you die or are slain. Tell them, "If you really believe in what you say, you should turn away your own death, when it comes to you." Do not regard as dead those who have been slain in the way of Allah; nay, they are really alive and are being provided (provision by their Lord. They rejoice in what Allah with His bounty has given them, and they are happy to think that there is nothing to fear or to grieve also for those believers whom they have left behind and who have not yet joined them. They feel happy to have received the reward and the bounty of Allah and they have come to know that most surely Allah does not let go to waste the reward of the Believers. Tell them, "Even though you had remained in your houses, those, who were destined to be slain, would have gone forth of their own accord to the places where they were destined to be slain." And all this happened so that Allah may test that which was hidden in your hearts, and sort out the base thing from your hearts. Allah is fully aware of what is in the hearts. The fact is that they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. Page 10 of 29 Those pious people whose souls are received in a pure state, by the angels, who welcome them, saying, "Peace be on you: enter into Paradise as the reward of your good deeds." There will be gardens for their permanent residence into which they will enter: canals will be flowing underneath them: above all, they will find there everything as they would desire: this is the reward for those pious people whose souls are received in a pure state, by the angels, who welcome them, saying, Peace be on you: enter into Paradise as the reward of your good deeds. There you will have whatever you desire, and whatever you ask for will be yours---an entertainment from the One, Who is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful. Their salutation on the day they meet Him will be "Peace", and Allah has prepared for them an honorable reward. 28 28 ج ع ي إ لى ر ب ك ر اض ي ة م ر ض ي ة ة ار ( 89 الفجر سورة 27 27 أ ي ت ه ا الن ف س الم ط م ن ة ة ي ا 30 اد خ ل ي ج تي تي 30 و 29 ب اد ي 29 ع خ ل ي في ف اد (To the righteous it will be said: O peaceful and fully satisfied soul, return to your Lord. Page 14 of 29 Allah will add, So, you have come before Us all alone, as We created you at first. Now, you have left behind all that We gave to you in the world; and now We do not see with you those intercessors who, you believed, had a share in molding your destinies: all the relations between you have been cut off, and all those, in whom you trusted, have left you in the lurch. ( 23 المو منون سورة الح ا ف يم ا ص الح ي أ ع م ل ل ع ل 99 ار ج ع ون ن 99 ح تى إ ذ ا ج اء أ ح د ه م الم و ت ق ال ر ب ا ذ ا ف 100 ه ا و م ن و ر اي ه م ب ر ز خ إ لى ي و م ي ب ع ث ون 100 ا ل م ة ه و ق اي ل ت ر ك ت لا إ ت م ن ث ق ل ت ف 101 ب ن ه م ي و م ي ذ و لا ي س اءل ون 101 اب ن ف خ في الص ور ف لا أ نس ال ذ ي ن ي ك و م ن خ ف ت م و از ين ه ف ا و ل 102 م و از ين ه ف ا و ل ي ك ه م الم ف ل ح ون 102 ح و ج وه ه م الن ار و ه م ف يه ا ت ل ف 103 خ س ر وا أ نف س ه م في ج ه ن م خ ال د ون 103 ون 104 104 (Those people will not desist from their doing till when death comes to any one of them, he will say, "Lord, send me back to the world which I have left: I hope I will now do righteous deeds." By no means! it is a mere saying that he is uttering: for now there is a barrier (for the dead up to the Day when they shall be raised up again. Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, all (worldly relations between them shall cease to function and they will not inquire about one another. Then only those whose Scales will be heavy, will attain success; and those, whose scales will be light, will be the people who made themselves liable to loss they shall abide in Hell for ever. Then who can be more wicked than the one who invents falsehoods about Allah and then attributes these to Him or than the one who treats the true Revelations of Allah as false? Such people will go on receiving their destined shares till that hour comes when the angels, appointed by Us, will arrive to capture their souls. Then the angels will ask them, "Where are those now whom you worshiped instead of Allah?" They will answer "All of them have forsaken us." And they will give evidence against themselves that they had indeed denied the truth. He will say to them: "Now where are My partners concerning whom you used to dispute (with the truthful?"those, to whom Knowledge had been given in the world, will say, "Today there is ignominy and misery for the disbelievers." Yes, this is for those disbelievers, who, while they are still engaged in wronging themselves, will surrender themselves when seized by the angels, saying, "We were doing nothing wrong at all." The angels will retort, "What, dare you deny this! Allah is fully aware of what you were doing. Now, go and enter the gates of Hell, where you shall abide for ever." Then only those whose Scales will be heavy, will attain success; and those, whose scales will be light, will be the people who made themselves liable to loss they shall abide in Hell for ever. The "Fire" will scorch their faces so as to expose their jaws. (It will be said to them, "Are you not the same people, who treated as lies My Revelations, when they were recited to you?" They will say, "Our Lord, our bad luck prevailed over us, and we were, indeed, erring people. Our Lord, now take us out of this place: after this, if we be guilty of such a thing, we shall indeed be wrong-doers." In answer to this, Allah will say, "Get away from here, remain herein and do not speak to Me. For, you are the very same people, who made fun of some of Our servants when they prayed to Us, `Our Lord, we have believed: so forgive us and have mercy, on us, for You are the Most Merciful of all who show mercy? So much so that in your obduracy, you even forgot My very existence, and went on scoffing at them. Today I have recompensed them for their fortitude, and they have triumphed over you. Then Allah will inquire from them, "For how many years did you live on the Earth?" They will say, "We stayed there for a day or for part of a day. You may inquire from those who kept account." It will be said, Well, you know now that you stayed there for a little while only. What a pity! you did not realize it then. They give a mere formal hearing to every new Revelation that comes to them from their Lord and remain engaged in the game (of life for their hearts are preoccupied (with other matters. And what will make you understand that the Hour of Judgment might well have drawn near at hand? Those who do not believe in its coming, seek to hasten it, but those who believe in it, dread it, and know that it is sure to come. Note it well that those who dispute concerning the coming of the Hour, in order to create doubts about it, have gone far astray. Say, "The knowledge of it is with Allah alone: you may not know that it may well be near at hand. Page 22 of 29 The Day when all people will be naked, and nothing of them will be hidden from Allah. (On that Day it will be asked: "Whose is the Kingdom today?" (The whole universe will cry out: Of Allah, the One, the Omnipotent (It will be said: "Today every living being shall be recompensed for what it has earned: none shall be wronged today And Allah is swift at reckoning." O Prophet, warn them of the Day that has approached near, when the hearts will leap up to the throats and the people will he standing mute, grief stricken: the wrongdoers will neither have any kindly friend nor any intercessor who may be listened to. Allah is aware of the treachery of the eyes and even of the secrets that the breasts keep hidden, and Allah will judge with full justice. As for those whom they (the mushriks invoke instead of Allah, they shall judge nothing. Indeed, Allah alone hears everything and sees everything. Page 23 of 29 As regards the coming of the Resurrection, it will not take more time than is taken in the twinkling of an eye rather less than this ( 6 الا عام سورة ق و ل ه الح ق ي ق ول ك ن ف ي ك ون م و ه و ال ذ ي خ ل ق الس م او ات و الا ر ض ب الح ق و ي و و 73 و ل ه الم ل ك ي و م ي نف خ في الص و ر ا ل م ال غ ي ب و الش ه اد ة و ه و الح ك يم الخ ب ير 73 It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in all truth, and there will be Resurrection the day He says, "Be." His word is the very truth and on the Day, when the Trumpet is blown, His shall be the sole Sovereignty. He has full knowledge of the visible and the invisible and He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. Why will He not raise? It is a promise He has made binding on Himself, but most people do not know it. And It must be fulfilled so that He may reveal to them that thing about which they are differing, and that the disbelievers might know that they were liars. Whoever exist in the heavens and the earth, are His servants; all are obedient to Him. He it is Who originates the creation; then He alone will repeat it, and this is easier for Him. His are the most exalted attributes in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. Whereas it will only need a single shout and they will forthwith appear in an open plain. Then a Trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come out of their graves at once to present themselves before their Lord. Bewildered they will say, "Ah! who has roused us from our sleeping-place?" This is the Day of Requital This is the same Day of Judgment which you used to deny. It is We Who bestow life and give death, and to Us shall all return on that Day, when the earth shall split asunder and the people shall be rushing out of it in all haste. They have cited this example to you only in the spirit of dispute. The fact is that they are a quarrelsome people. The son of Mary was no more than a servant whom We favored and made an example of Our power for the children of Israel. If We want We can create angels from you to succeed you in the earth.
