Abu Ja far Muhammad Bin Yaqoub Al Kulayni, may Allah azwj have Mercy on him, said, It was narrated to me by Ali Bin Ibrahim Bin Hashim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, from Abu Abdullah asws says that Rasool-Allah saww said: Rasool-Allah saww said: The water cleans and cannot (itself) be cleaned (by something else). 1 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى و غ ي ر ه ع ن م ح م د ب ن أ ح م د ع ن ال ح س ن ب ن ال ح س ي ن الل ؤ ل ؤ ي ب إ س ن اد ه ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ال م اء ك ل ه ط اه ر ح ت ى ي ع ل م أ ن ه ق ذ ر. Muhammad Bin Yahya, and someone else from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Al Hassan Bin Al Husayn Al Lulu ie, by his chain, said, Abu Abdullah asws said: The water, all of it is (to be considered as) clean, until one knows that it is dirty. 2 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن أ ب ي د او د ال م ن ش د ع ن ج ع ف ر ب ن م ح م د ع ن ي ون س ع ن ح م اد ب ن ع ث م ا ن ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ال م اء ك ل ه ط اه ر ح ت ى ي ع ل م أ ن ه ق ذ ر. ع ن أ ب ي Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Abu Dawood Al Munshid, from Ja far Bin Muhammad, from Yunus, from Hammad Bin Usman, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The water, all of it is (to be considered as) clean, until one knows that it is dirty. 3 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن ي ون س ب ن ع ب د الر ح م ن ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن س ن ان ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن م اء ال ب ح ر أ ط ه ور ه و ق ال ن ع م. Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Safwan Bin Yahya and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, altogether from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, I heard Abu Abdullah asws saying: When the water was of the measurement of a Kurr (Three and a half open palm s width cubed), nothing would pollute it. 6 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ال ح ك م ع ن أ ب ي أ ي وب ال خ ز از ع ن م ح م د ب ن م سل م ق ال س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال م اء ال ذ ي ت ب ول ف يه الد و اب و ت ل غ ف يه ال ك ال ب و ي غ ت س ل ف يه ال ج ن ب ق ال إ ذ ا ك ان ال م اء ق د ر ك ر ل م ي ن ج س ه ش ي ء. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al hakam, from Abu Ayoub Al Khazzaz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the water in which the animals urinate, and in which the dogs lick, and the one with sexual impurity bathes in it. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, He asws said: When the water was more than a Rawiya (a camel load of water), nothing would pollute it, whether something has fallen into it or not fallen into it, except if a smell comes from it, taking over the smell of the water. 8 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن اب ن م ح ب وب ع ن ال ح س ن ب ن ص ال ح الث و ر ي ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا ك ان ال م اء ف ي الر ك ي ك ر ا ل م ي ن ج س ه ش ي ء ق ل و ك م ال ك ر ق ال ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار و ن ص ف ع م ق ه ا ف ي ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار و ن ص ف ع ر ض ه ا. (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: When the water in the container was a Kurr, nothing would pollute it. I said, And how much (volume) is a Kurr? He asws said: Three and a half open palms width in depth by three and a half open palms width length/breadth (i.e. cubed). 9 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع ث م ان ب ن ع يس ى ع ن اب ن م س ك ان ع ن أ ب ي ب ص ير ق ال س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال ك ر م ن ال م اء ك م ي ك ون ق د ر ه ق ال إ ذ ا ك ان ال م اء ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار و ن ص ف ]ن ص فا [ ف ي م ث ل ه ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار و ن ص ف ف ي ع م ق ه ف ي ا ل ر ض ف ذ ل ك ال ك ر م ن ال م اء. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Ibn Muskan, from Abu Baseer who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the Kurr from the water, How much is its measurement? He asws said: When the water was of three and a half open palm s width in its length and breadth by three and a half open palm s width in its depth in the ground, so that is the Kurr from the water. 10 أ ح م د ب ن إ د ر يس ع ن م ح م د ب ن أ ح م د ع ن ي ع ق وب ب ن ي ز يد ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ال ك ر م ن ال م اء أ ل ف و م ائ ت ا ر ط ل. Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The Kurr from the water is of (the weight of) one thousand two hundred Ratls (one Ratl = approximately 400 gms). 11 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ب ر ق ي ع ن اب ن س ن ان ع ن إ س م اع يل ب ن ج اب ر ق ال س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال م اء ال ذ ي ل ي ن ج س ه ش ي ء ق ال ك ر ق ل و م ا ال ك ر ق ال ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار ف ي ث ال ث ة أ ش ب ار. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Barqy, from Ibn Sinan, from Ismail Bin Jabir who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the water which nothing can pollute. He asws said: A Kurr. I said, And what is the Kurr? A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakan, from Abdullah Bin Yahya Al Kahily who said, I heard Abu Abdullah asws saying: Whenever you go to the water and it is little, so exclude from your right, and from your left, and in front of you, and perform Ablution (Wudhu). 14 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن ال م غ ير ة ع ن اب ن م س ك ان ق ال ح د ث ن ي م ح م د ب ن ال م ي س ر ق ال س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن الر ج ل ال ج ن ب ي ن ت ه ي إ ل ى ال م اء ال ق ل يل ف ي الط ر يق و ي ر يد أ ن ي غ ت س ل م ن ه و ل ي س م ع ه إ ن اء ي غ ر ف ب ه و ي د اه ق ذ ر ت ان ق ال ي ض ع ي د ه و ي ت و ض أ ث م ي غ ت س ل ه ذ ا م م ا ق ال للا ع ز و ج ل ما ج ع ل ع ل ي ك م ف ي الد ين م ن ح ر. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from hi sfather, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Ibn Muskan who said, Muhammad Bin Al-Muysar narrated to me saying, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the sexually impure man ending up to the little water in the road, and he intends to wash from it, and there is no vessel with him to scoop with, and both his hands are dirty. He asws said: He should place his hands (in it) and perform Ablution (Wudhu), then he should wash. A man asked Abu Abdullah asws and I was seated, about a flowing stream and therein is a carcass. So he asws said: When the water was overwhelming and the smell is not found in it, so you can perform Ablution (Wudhu). 17 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن س ع يد ع ن ال ق اس م ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع ل ي ب ن أ ب ي ح م ز ة ق ال س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال م اء الس اك ن و ا ل س ت ن ج اء م ن ه و ال ج يف ة ف يه ف ق ال ت و ض أ م ن ال ج ان ب ا خ ر و ل ت و ض أ م ن ج ان ب ال ج يف ة. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about stagnant water and the cleaning of oneself from it after the defecation, and the carcass being in it. So he asws said: Perform Ablution (Wudhu) from the other side, and do not perform Ablution (Wudhu) from the side of the carcass. 18 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن ح م اد ع ن ال ح ل ب ي ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ف ي ال م اء ا ج ن ت ت و ض أ م ن ه إ ل أ ن ت ج د م اء غ ي ر ه ف ت ن ز ه م ن ه. Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Safwan Al Jammal who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the fountains which are between Makkah and Al- Medina deteriorated by the wild animals, and the dogs lick in it, and the sexually impure man washes from it, can one perform Ablution (Wudhu) from it? He asws said: And how much is its measurement? I said, Up to half the leg and up to the knees, and less. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail Bin Bazie who said, I wrote to a man requesting him to ask Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza asws about the well which happens to be in the house for the Ablution (Wudhu), so the drops of urine fall into it, or blood, or something falls into it from filth like animal dung and such like. What is that which can clean it until the performance of the Ablution (Wudhu) for the Salaat is Permissible from it? So he asws wrote by his asws own handwriting in his asws letter: Remove some buckets from it (then use it). 21 و ب ه ذ ا ا ل س ن اد ق ال م اء ال ب ئ ر و اس ع ل ي ف س د ه ش ي ء إ ل أ ن ي ت غ ي ر ب ه. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Abu Asama, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws regarding the rats, and the cats, and the birds, and the dogs (falling into the well). He asws said: For as long as they have not decomposed, or the taste of the water has not changed, so (removing) five buckets would suffice you; and if the water has changed, so keep taking out from it until the smell goes away. 23 Muhammad Bin Yahya, م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ر ف ع ه ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ل ي ف س د ال م اء إ ل م ا ك ان ل ه ن ف س س ائ ل ة. (It has been narrated) raising it from Abu Abdullah asws having said: It would not pollute the water except if it has a spurting blood for it (warm blooded mammal). 24 أ ح م د ب ن إ د ر يس ع ن م ح م د ب ن س ال م ع ن أ ح م د ب ن الن ض ر ع ن ع م ر و ب ن ش م ر ع ن ج اب ر ع ن أ ب ي ج ع ف ر ( عليه السالم ) ف ي الس ام أ ب ر ص ي ق ع ف ي ال ب ئ ر ق ال ل ي س ب ش يء ح ر ك ال م اء ب الد ل و. Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Salim, from Ahmad Bin Al Nazar, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja far asws regarding the poisonous snake falling into the well. He asws said: It is not with anything. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ibn Sinan, from Ibn Muskan, from Abu Baseer who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about what falls into the wells, so he asws said: As for the rat and it s like, so withdraw seven buckets from it, except if the water has changed (due to it), so you keep withdrawing until it is clean. So if a dog falls into it, and if you are able to withdraw its water, so do it; and everything which falls into the well, not having blood for it, like the scorpion, and the beetles and the likes of that, so there is no problem. 26 أ ح م د ب ن إ د ر يس ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع ب د ال ج ب ار ع ن ص ف و ان ع ن اب ن م س ك ان ع ن ال ح ل ب ي ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا س ق ط ف ي ال ب ئ ر ش ي ء ص غ ير ف م ا ف يه ا ف ان ز ح م ن ه ا د ل ء و إ ن و ق ع ف يه ا ج ن ب ف ان ز ح م ن ه ا س ب ع د ل ء ف إ ن م ا ف يه ا ب ع ير أ و ص ب ف يه ا خ م ر ف ل ي ن ز ح. Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Ibn Muskaan, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: When something small falls into the well and dies in it, so withdraw a bucket from it; and if a sexually impure person were to fall into it, so withdraw seven buckets from it. But if a camel were to die in it, or wine is poured into it, so let it be withdrawn (all of it). 27 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن ال ع م ر ك ي ب ن ع ل ي ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ج ع ف ر ع ن أ خ يه أ ب ي ال ح س ن ( عليه السالم ) ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن ر ج ل ذ ب ح ش اة ف اض ط ر ب و و ق ع ف ي ب ئ ر م اء و أ و د اج ه ا ت ش خ ب د ما ه ل ي ت و ض أ م ن ت ل ك ال ب ئ ر ق ال ي ن ز ح م ن ه ا م ا ب ي ن الث ال ث ين إ ل ى ا ل ر ب ع ين د ل وا ث م ي ت و ض أ م ن ه ا و ل ب أ س ب ه Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Al Amraky Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja far asws, from his brother asws Abu Al- Hassan asws, said, I asked him asws about a man who slaughters a sheep, so it becomes restless and falls into a water well, and blood was gushing from its arteries. Can one perform Ablution (Wudhu) from that well? He asws said: Withdraw from it what is between thirty and forty buckets, then he can perform Ablution (Wudhu) from it, and there would be no problem with it. ق ال و س أ ل ت ه ع ن ر ج ل ذ ب ح د ج اج ة أ و ح م ام ة ف و ق ع ف ي ب ئ ر ه ل ي ص ل ح أ ن ي ت و ض أ م ن ه ا ي ت و ض أ م ن ه ا ق ال ي ن ز ح م ن ه ا د ل ء ي س ير ة ث م He (the narrator) said, And I asked him asws about a man who slaughters a chicken, or a dove, so it falls into a well. Is it correct for him to perform Ablution (Wudhu) from it? He asws said: He should withdraw a few buckets from it. 28 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن ال م غ ير ة ع م ن ذ ك ر ه ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ق ل ب ئ ر ي خ ر ف ي م ائ ه ا ق ط ع ج ل ود ق ال ل ي س ب ش ي ء إ ن ال و ز غ ر ب م ا ط ر ح ج ل د ه و ق ال ي ك ف يك د ل و م ن م اء. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws, said, I said, A well, there comes out from its water, pieces of skin. He asws said: It is not with anything. The salamander, sometimes it sheds it skin. And he asws said: It would suffice you (to withdraw) a bucket of water (before using it). 29 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن اب ن م ح ب وب ع ن اب ن ر ئ اب ع ن ز ر ار ة ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن ال ح ب ل ي ك ون م ن ش ع ر ال خ ن ز ير ي س ت ق ى ب ه ال م اء م ن ال ب ئ ر ه ل ي ت و ض أ م ن ذ ل ك ال م اء ق ا ل ل ب أ س. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra ib, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws, said, I asked him asws about the rope which happens to be from the pig, the water from the well being withdrawn by it. Can one perform Ablution (Wudhu) from that water? He asws said: There is no problem. 30 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن س ع يد ع ن ال ق اس م ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع ل ي ب ن أ ب ي ح م ز ة ق ا ل س أ ل أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال ع ذ ر ة ت ق ع ف ي ال ب ئ ر ق ال ي ن ز ح م ن ه ا ع ش ر ة د ل ء ف إ ن ذ اب ف أ ر ب ع ون أ و خ م س ون د ل وا. He asws said: Withdraw ten buckets from it. Then one comes to know that there is a carcass in it. So he asws said: If the well was in the upper part of the valley, and the urine flows in the valley underneath it, and there was a distance between the two of a measurement of three cubits or four cubits, nothing of that would pollute it. However, if it were less than that, it would pollute it. Zurara said, So I said to him asws, Supposing the flow of the urine was with steep declination and it was not stationary upon the ground? So, he asws said: As long as there is no stagnation for it, so there is no problem with it; and if a little of it stagnates but it does not permeate the ground and there is no depth to it until it reaches the well, and there is no problem for the well from it, so you can perform Ablution (Wudhu) from it. I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the residue of (the water drunk by) the Jew and Christian, so he asws said: No. 48 أ ح م د ب ن إ د ر يس ع ن م ح م د ب ن أ ح م د ع ن أ ي وب ب ن ن وح ع ن ال و ش اء ع م ن ذ ك ر ه ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) أ ن ه ك ر ه س ال م و ك ان أ ش د ذ ل ك ع ن د ه س ؤ ر الن اص ب. س ؤ ر و ل د الز ن ا و س ؤ ر ال ي ه ود ي و الن ص ر ان ي و ال م ش ر ك و ك ل م ا خ ال ف ا ل Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Ayoub Bin Nuh, from Al Washha, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having disliked the residue (of the water drunk by) the child of adultery (bastard), and residue of the Jew, and the Christian, and the Polytheist, and everyone who opposes Al-Islam; and it was so that the most intense of that in his asws presence was the residue of (the water drunk by) the Hostile One (Nasibi). 49 باب الر ج ل ي د خ ل ي د ه ف ي اإل ن اء ق ب ل أ ن ي غ س ل ه ا و ال ح د ف ي غ س ل ال ي د ي ن م ن ال ج ن اب ة و ال ب و ل و ال غ ائ ط و الن و م Chapter 8 The man enters his hand into the vessel before he washes it, and the limit with regards to washing of the two hands from the sexual impurity, and the urine, and the faeces, and the sleep ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن ال م غ ير ة ع ن س م اع ة ع ن أ ب ي ب ص ير ع ن ه م ( عليهم السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا دخ ل ي د ك ف ي ن اء و ف يه ا ش يء م ن ذ ل ك ن اء ق ب ل أ ن ت غ س ل ه ا ف ال ب أ س إ ل أ ن ي ك ون أ ص اب ه ا ق ذ ر ب و ل أ و ج ن اب ة ف إ ن د خ ل ي د ك ف ي ا ل ا ل ف أ ه ر ق ذ ل ك ال م اء. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Sama at, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from them asws having said: When you enter your hand into the vessel before you wash it, so there is problem except if the filth happens to have hit it, either urine, or sexual impurity. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Ibn Muskan, from Abu Baseer, from Abdul Kareem Bin Utba who said, I asked the Sheykh asws about the man who wakes up from his sleep and did not urinate, Can he enter his hand into the vessel before he washes it? Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Shihan Bin Abd Rabbihi, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws regarding the sexually impure man who mistakenly immerses his hand into the vessel before he washes it, that there is no problem when it was so that nothing came across his hand (from the sexual impurity). 52 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ال ح ك م ع ن ال ع ال ء ب ن ر ز ين ع ن م ح م د ب ن م س ل م ع ن أ ح د ه م ا ( عليهما السالم ) ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن الر ج ل ي ب ول و ل م ي م س ي د ه ش ي ء أ ي غ م س ه ا ف ي ال م اء ق ال ن ع م و إ ن ك ان ج ن با. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al A ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5 th or 6 th Imam asws, said, I asked him asws about the man who urinates and nothing (from it) touched his hand, can he immerse it into the water? Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hisham Bin Al Hakam, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws regarding the two gutters, one of the two being of urine and other one of rainwater. So they get mingled, and the cloth of the man get hit by it, that would not harm him. 56 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ه ي ث م ب ن أ ب ي م س ر وق ع ن ال ح ك م ب ن م س ك ين ع ن م ح م د ب ن م ر و ان ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ل و أ ن م يز اب ي ن س ا ل أ ح د ه م ا م يز اب ب و ل و ا خ ر م يز اب م اء ف اخ ت ل ط ا ث م أ ص ا بك م ا ك ان ب ه ب أ س. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Haysam Bin Abu Masrouq, from Al Hakam Bin Miskeen, from Muhammad Bin Marwan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: If the two gutters are flowing, one of the two being of urine and the other one being of water, so they get mixed up, then it touches you, there would be no problem with it. 57 أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ال ح ك م ع ن ال ك اه ل ي ع ن ر ج ل ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ق ل أ م ر ف ي الط ر يق ف ي س ي ل ع ل ي ال م يز اب ف ي أ و ق ا أ ع ل م أ ن الن اس ي ت و ض ئ ون ق ال ق ال ل ي س ب ه ب أ س ل ت س أ ل ع ن ه Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al Kahily, from a man, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws, said, I said, I pass by in the road, so the water of the sprout flows over towards me in times I know that the people are performing their Ablution (Wudhu)s. He asws said: There is no problem with it. Do not ask about it. ق ل و ي س يل ع ل ي م ن م اء ال م ط ر أ ر ى ف يه الت غ ي ر و أ ر ى ف يه آث ار ال ق ذ ر ف ت ق ط ر ال ق ط ر ا ع ل ي و ي ن ت ض ح ع ل ي م ن ه و ال ب ي ي ت و ض أ ع ل ى س ط ح ه ف ي ك ف ع ل ى ث ي اب ن ا ق ال م ا ب ذ ا ب أ س ل ت غ س ل ه ك ل ش يء ي ر اه م اء ال م ط ر ف ق د ط ه ر. I said, And there flows unto me from the rain water, I see the change in it, and I see in it traces of dirt. So, the drops (from it) fall upon me and it permeates (soaks) into me, and upon the house there are people performing Ablution (Wudhu). So how is it upon our clothes? He asws said: There is no problem with that. Do not wash it. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al Hassan asws regarding the clay of the rain, that there is no problem with it for three days if it hits the clothes, unless if one knows that something has impurified it after the rain. So if it is hit after three days (of rainfall), then wash it, and if the street was clean, do not wash it. 59 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن اب ن أ ذ ي ن ة ع ن ا ل ح و ل ق ال ق ل ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) أ خ ر م ن ال خ ال ء ف أ س ت ن ج ي ب ال م اء ف ي ق ع ث و ب ي ف ي ذ ل ك ال م اء ال ذ ي اس ت ن ج ي ب ه ف ق ال ل ب أ س ب ه. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Azina, from Al Ahowl who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, I come out of the toilet, then I clean myself with the water. So, something from that water hits my clothes which I have cleaned myself with. So he asws said: There is no problem with it. 60 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ال ح ك م ع ن ش ه اب ب ن ع ب د ر ب ه ع ن أ ي ع ب د للا ( ن اء إ ن ه ن اء و ي ن ت ض ح ال م اء م ن ا ل ر ض ف ي ص ير ف ي ا ل عليه السالم ) أ ن ه ق ال ف ي ال ج ن ب ي غ ت س ل ف ي ق ط ر ال م اء ع ن ج س د ه ف ي ا ل ل ب أ س ب ه ذ ا ك ل ه. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Shihaab Bin Abd Rabbih, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said regarding the sexually impure man washing, so drops of the water drop off from his body into the vessel, and the water from the ground flows into the vessel: There is no problem with this, all of it. 61 م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ال ف ض ل ب ن ش اذ ان ع ن ح م اد ب ن ع يس ى ع ن ر ب ع ي ب ن ع ب د للا ع ن ال ف ض ي ل ب ن ي س ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ن اء ف ق ال ل ب أ س ما ج ع ل ع ل ي ك م ف ي الد ين م ن ح ر. ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ف ي الر ج ل ال ج ن ب ي غ ت س ل ف ي ن ت ض ح م ن ال م اء ف ي ا ل Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Rabie Bin Abdullah, from Al Fuzayl Bin Yasaar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said regarding the man with sexually impurity washing, and some of the water spills over into the vessel. So he asws said: There is no problem.
