According to the new IJF rule enacted on the December 2, 2012 in Tokyo the Organizing country should not request fee penalties for countries which cannot make bank transfers but can pay in cash money upon arrival. On the other hand, they should inform well in advance the organizing country and specify the number of participants before the deadline. Cancellation fees: up to 30 days before the hotel payment deadline, full refund. From 30-20 days before the arrival 50% of the payment. After the June 26, 2018 any cancellation of rooms reserved or no-show will result in 100% of the charge of the hotel costs that must be paid by the participating National Federation. Cancelations of the rooms cannot be made at the check-in. Injuries, visa problems or sickness are not valid reasons for cancellation of rooms.
IMPORTANT: All damages to property of hotels or venues resulting from the stay of a national delegation shall be charged to their federation and paid in full. 6. Persons without IJF ID Card can only be entered on spot, if IJF ID Card will be ordered until end of Accreditation. Persons, who are banned by their Federation cannot be entered as late entry or replacement.

CONTROL AND ACCREDITATION OF NATIONALITY At least one team official must attend the accreditation before Friday 12:00 in order to confirm the delegation. Without this confirmation in time, a nation will not be put into draw and will not be allowed to compete. Passports or photocopies of passports from all competitors must be available on request (national ID card showing nationality and date of birth or a copy is also accepted). The competitors must not be present at the nationality control. An accreditation card with a photograph will be issued to competitors and officials. The control of entries and issuing of accreditation cards will take place at Royal Hotel: * Thursday July 19, 2018 from 09:00 to 21:00 10. PARTICIPATION: JUA Cadets & Junior Open Macau 2018 is open for all JUA/IJF Member Federations, which can enter in each weight category the number of athletes they wish to (No limit). The competitors must be of the same nationality as the National Federation, which enters them. (1) Competitor can only be entered in one weight category (2) Only entries of National Judo Federations IJF members will be accepted 11. CONTESTANTS AGE: Cadet: Boys and Girls must be 15 years old or above and under 18 years old (calendar year). (must be born between 2001 and 2003) Junior: Men and Women must be 15 years old or above and under 21 years old (calendar year). (must be born between 1998 and 2003) Reminders: For contestants under 18 year old, the secondary entry must be countersigned by parent / guardian.

13. CONTEST TIME: CADET JUNIOR Boys: Four (4) minutes Girls: Four (4) minutes The Golden score with no time limit. Referees decision is cancelled. Men: Four (4) minutes Women: Four (4) minutes The Golden score with no time limit. Referees decision is cancelled. 14. COMPETITION RULES: Competition will be conducted in accordance with the IJF Sports and Organization Rules, IJF Refereeing Rules and JUA Sports and Organization Rules. 15. REFEREES Referees must have IJF International or Continental Referee License. The hotel expense would be covered by the organizer for the referees who come with the team. The referee meeting will be conducted on July 20 at 16:00 in Hotel Royal. For all referees the attendance at the referee meeting is strictly compulsory. Dress code: Jacket suit with tie. 16. COACHING Code of behavior of coaches as defined in the Sports and Organization Rules, Annex 4 will be strictly observed, inclusive the Dress Code. Draw: Jacket suit and tie Elimination rounds: National track suit with trousers reaching down to shoes or jacket suit with tie Final block: Jacket suit with tie 17. NATIONALITY: Contestant must hold the same nationality of their Federation. Contestants are required to show his / her passport in order to confirm their nationality. 18. DRAW a. The draw will be conducted at 15:00 on 20 July in Royal Hotel b. Each National federation must send a delegate to attend the Draw, a maximum, of two (2) delegates per National Federation will be authorized. The dress code for draw is formal. 19. WEIGH-IN Athletes are not allowed to weigh-in naked. Boys must wear at least underwear and girls at least underwear and a T-shirt. Athletes must present accreditation card and his/her passport (National ID Card showing nationality and date of birth are also accepted).
20. JUDOGI CONTROL a. Approved Judogi: All Judoka must compete in IJF Approved Judogi with red label. Judogis from all IJF suppliers are allowed. (see www.ijf.org Official Supplier List). b. Judogi Control: It will be operated with a Sokuteiki prior to the fight. Judogi must have an IJF Official Label APPROVED JUDOGI with an optical code which cannot be falsified. The label can be controlled with an optical lamp. Each of the competition clothing articles (jacket, trousers and belt) must have an IJF official label. c. Backnumber : Each competitor taking part in the JUA/IJF events is obliged to have sewn on the back of his Judogi the official IJF backnumber bearing his surname and his National Olympic Committee abbreviation. The backnumber can be ordered from www.ijfbacknumber.com or www.mybacknumber.com (Attention: production and delivery takes around 4 weeks). The SPONSOR part (if needed) will be given to the head of delegation during registration, and the athletes can stick it themselves using the special glue on the back number. 21. ANTI-DOPING CONTROL The gold medal winner and one of the key medalists in each category of CADETS & JUNIOR will participate in doping control. 22. AWARDS AND PRIZES 1 st Place Gold Medal with Diploma 2 nd Place Silver Medal with Diploma 3 rd Place Bronze Medal with Diploma 5 th Place Diploma 23. VISA Except for nationals of the designated countries, applicants can apply for visas at any PRC embassy, consulate or representative office. However, we suggest that applicants submit applications in the countries in which they reside. For any support, Please send your passport copy and flight schedule, as well as a letter including the passport details [Full name, Passport No., Date of Birth] to the Organizer s email not later than June 1, 2018. 24. LAND TRANSPORTATION The Organizer will provide free of charge land transportation for competing delegations from and to Macau International Airport/ Macau ferry terminal and the official hotel.
25. INSURANCE Each National Federation/Association will assume all responsibility for accident and health insurance as well as the civil liability for their competitors and officials. The Judo Union of Asia, the Organization Committee of the JUA Open Cadets &Junior, Macau 2018 and Macau Judo Association will not be responsible of any illness, injury and death, of any participants/officials whatsoever. Nevertheless the National Judo Federation/Association staging the JUA Open Cadets &Junior, Macau 2018 shall take all necessary actions to provide insurance coverage against civil liability for the entire duration. 26. NATIONAL FLAG AND ANTHEM: Each Member Federation is required to bring two (2) National Flags (120 X 180 cm) and National Anthem (short version in CD ).
