Many youngters have not combined these into one event before, we do seperate dressage, show jumping and cross country in a normal rally plan. In a horse Trials it s all one after the other in a draw. Its great fun but for littlies can be a bit daunting out on that big open space where as and in a rally situation it is not. We will have some fun tomorrow in the water, for the bigger riders thats ok for the littlies can I suggest mum or dad to bring their welly boots LOL or you re gunna get wet sox! The new mound is also open for us to use, now it has settled it is going to be included in our horse trials this year. We going to get first go at it which will be a good practice for any of our riders that may be doing the Horse Trials. Our best wishes go to Zoe Rogers who this weekend is competing for our Barwon Zone Team at Gladysdale with many riders from other clubs in our Zone at the Dressage & Showjumping State Championships. PRESIDENT S REPORT Adrienne will present her report at Muster Groups Gear Check Gear check is now in groups. The posts to indicate where to wait will be changed to Group Names and spread out over the front of the Show Jumping arenas as usual. Could whoever is first to their group collect the appropriate Gear Check Folder, a pen and a Hi-Vis vest from the table at the front of the clubrooms and return to their rider. Everyone will be doing each other s gear check so begin to make yourself familiar with the gear check form. When the next person arrives please swap to do each other s gear. We will have someone assist each group of Gear Check this month and until we have had some training for everyone. Thank you Adrienne

No Rider can start with their group until their Gear Check is complete, this includes a signature from your parent or Guardian. A parent MUST be in attendance when you are getting gear check please.
