History The sport of CP Football (formerly known as Football 7-aside) was created in 1978 in Edinburgh and has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1984. The Cerebral Palsy International Sport and Recreation Association was the sport governing body from 1978 to 2014. On January 1, 2015 the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football assumed responsibility for the governance of CP Football. 2

Quadrennial Tournament Program 2017-2020 To host major international tournaments: - 2017 IFCPF World Championships (Argentina) - 2018 IFCPF Regional Championships - 2019 IFCPF World Cup - 2020 IFCPF Top 8 & IFCPF World Championships Qualifier This is the highest level of competition for CP Football players, Football Associations, Cerebral Palsy Sport Organizations, National Paralympic Committees (NPC s), as well as to the public and online spectators. 5

2. Funding Develop an IFCPF Marketing and Sponsorship Sales Plan outlining clear revenue targets. Create sponsorship packages appropriate for different levels of tournaments. Introduce additional key partners to contribute to the funding and development of CP Football 8

4. Player & Coach Development Provide a tournament calendar to support appropriate development for all member countries with quality assurance through IFCPF competition management support Create a targeted strategy for player and tournament development in all regions Provide knowledge and educational resources to NPC s, National Football Federations and National CP Football Federations for coaches, technical officials and classifiers Ensure a regional competition structure for Under 19 players and increase female participation at all levels of the sport 10
5. Organisational Capacity Provide quality service and support to tournaments with enhanced focus by IFCPF in the development of Central America, Africa, and Asia/Oceania Provide on-going support to existing IFCPF Referees, Technical Officials and Classifiers Continue development and activation of the Athletes Council, Technical Committee, Anti-Doping Committee, Classification Committee, Officiating Committee and ad-hoc committees Increase the number of IFCPF Board Members 11

Branding Organize tournaments starting in 2017 to showcase the performances and abilities of the world s leading players to a global audience in a prime environment Ensure live stream agreements and in-depth coverage for all major tournaments Create a brand development section in IFCPF marketing plan with targets for further reach Engage partners who can carry the brand message for IFCPF, such as FIFA, the Regional Football Confederations (UEFA, AFC, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, CAF, OFC), with national football and disability sport federations 13

Strategic Partnerships Build on the concepts and areas of collaboration outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding with FIFA and the Regional Football Associations by leveraging all opportunities in detailed follow-up and project work Develop key partnerships with Members and National Federations to ensure regional delivery of the IFCPF Strategic Plan Leverage expertise and resources of partners such as NPCs, Local Organisers and host cities in the staging of major competitions. Continue to develop partnership with the IPC 14
