Playoff Teams: 6 (3 Rounds, 2 Byes) Week per Playoff Matchup: 1 week per round Playoff Seeding Tie Breaker: Total Points For Playoff Home Field Advantage: None. PLAYOFF BRACKET SETUP Playoff Tie Breaker: A tie during a playoff matchup will be broken by comparing the total points scored by all offensive positions except K for each team (QB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, and WR/TE). This is not built in to the ESPN system and will be determined manually by the commissioner. 3 rd Place Determination: We do not use the consolation tournament to determine the official 3 rd place finisher each season. Instead, 3 rd place goes to the highest scoring loser of the 2 nd Round of the Playoffs (Week 15). Observe Undroppable Players List: No. Player Universe: All NFL Players PLAYER RULES ACQUISITIONS & WAIVER RULES Lineup Changes: Lock individually at scheduled game times Player Acquisition System: Waivers Season Acquisition Limit: None. Waiver Period: 1 Day (Waiver claims will process at 4:30am each Wednesday) Waiver Order: Move to last after claim. Initial waiver order determined by auction dollars remaining after the draft (most to least). TRADE RULES -- Trade Limit: None. Make as many trades as you like as long as it fits in before the trade deadline. Trade Deadline: The PDW Trade Deadline is set to the ESPN Fantasy Football default. This is usually the last Wednesday of November. 3
Trades & Cash: Auction dollars may be included in in-season and offseason trades with the following two limitations. 1.) Only dollars from the upcoming/next season may be involved in the trade (no trades involving money from multiple seasons or seasons beyond the upcoming one), 2.) No intentional player dumping for future cash. The idea is to make reasonable trades to improve the current season. No player dumping. Trade Review: None (see below for details on Commish Veto). Commish Veto: Once negotiated and accepted by both parties, trades will go through immediately. The only veto would have to come from The Kommish, but it is understood that Punch Drunkards will be wise in their trade decisions. If collusion or player dumping is suspected, a veto will likely occur. Trade Challenge: If a trade occurs that you don't approve of then you are free to challenge the trade after the fact. Again, this really shouldn't happen if everyone is being smart with their decisions and trade offers. But, the option is there and if you want to challenge a trade we can put it up to a post-trade vote. Please send a message to The Kommish to voice any challenges. Keepers Per Team: 3 KEEPER RULES Keeper Lifetime: 3 Seasons. A player may be kept for a maximum of 3 fantasy seasons which means that player may be kept twice. After a 3 rd year in the keeper pool the player may not be designated as a keeper. Keeper Salary Cap: $100 (This is the max salary to be spent on all keepers) Keeper Lock Date: Team Owners must designate their Keepers for the upcoming season before the designation deadline which will be set to 1 Week prior to the PDW Draft. Keeper Value***: A Keeper Player's value will be set to their previous season's auction value plus $5 (example: Cadillac Williams was picked up at auction for $1 so his Keeper Value would be $6 for the following season). The Keeper Value will automatically be subtracted from your budget for the upcoming Auction Draft. Keeper Values increase by an increasing amount for each year kept. The table below shows the progression of keeper values. Season A Initial Auction Value (I.A.V.) Season B I.A.V. + $5 Season C Season B Value + $15 *** Players that are acquired in auction retain their auction/keeper value through drops and trades for that season. Players acquired via waivers or free agency that were not acquired in the season auction for a greater price are considered to have a value of $1 for that season (i.e. players that are specified as keepers that were waiver/fa pickups will have a value of $6 going into the next season). In all other cases players retain their auction value, so a player that was acquired at auction for $10 will still be considered a $10 player even if, during the course of a season, that player is dropped and acquired by another manager via waivers or free agency. Auction Value Summary: At the end of each season and again just prior to each draft an Auction 4
List will be provided to league members that displays all of the values of players that were acquired in auction the previous season. Dropping Keeper Pre-Draft: In the one week period between the keeper deadline and the draft managers may elect to drop any of their selected keepers for any reason. However, another keeper may not be selected to replace the dropped keeper. The ESPN league site will not allow this drop to occur, so please contact The Kommish about these special case keeper drops.
