ECCHO 2016: Emergency and Critical Care Hyperbaric Oxygen Symposium, 7 a.m. 5 p.m. Emergency and Critical Care Hyperbaric Oxygen Symposium Symposium description is pleased to announce ECCHO 2016, an emergency and critical care hyperbaric oxygen symposium dealing with the practical issues of providing these services to critically ill patients. International, national and regional experts will discuss the real-world challenges of treating patients with the following conditions: Necrotizing soft tissue infections Burns Crush injuries and compartment syndromes Carbon monoxide poisoning Decompression sickness Arterial gas embolisms Compromised surgical flaps and grafts And more Target audience Providers who care for adult or pediatric patients who may need emergency/critical care hyperbaric medicine including providers from these specialties: trauma, general surgery, plastic surgery, pulmonary critical care, burn surgery and emergency medicine as well as hyperbaric physicians, nurses and technicians. Accreditation Legacy Health is accredited by the Oregon Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Legacy Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This course has been reviewed and approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology for 8.25 Category A credits.
