SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for businesses
2018 BATH HALF MARATHON SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES INTRODUCTION Established in 1982, the Bath Half Marathon (or the BATHALF as it is affectionately known) is one of the most popular and longest-established mass-participation road running races in the UK, and the largest public event in Bath. Staged over a 2-lap course starting and finishing in Great Pulteney Street running through the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage City, the Bath Half is popular with beginners, recreational runners and top elite athletes alike. The race is particularly famous for its fabulous crowd support, and entertainment (live bands and charity cheering points) lining the whole route. Since 2000 the race has been organised by Bath-based Running High Events Ltd. Under their stewardship the race expanded from 2,000 to its current entries limit of 15,000 entries in 2008, and general public entries have sold out several months before race day for the last 18 years.
