BIG CROWN SPRING PAGEANT- March 28 th, 2015 Holiday Inn, 7007 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio (All CROWNS 10, 12, 14 inch plus custom sashes for each contestant) With 25 contestants we will award TWO 20 inch crowns (one for Glitz and Natural)! THIS IS AN OPEN PAGEANT. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE A RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF OHIO. OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF ALL STATES! REGISTRATION FORMS: Your official entry form along with your full payment MUST be received by March 21,2014. Any fees for additional items may be paid at pageant check-in but must be paid via, cash, or certified money order. No checks the day of the pageant. REGISTRATION FEES: The cost to register for All Inclusive Package for Natural or Glitz is $200.00 (Save $50.00 by sending $100 deposit by Feb. 1 or save $25 if deposit paid by Feb. 28th ). With 1 st earlybird you pay $150 or $175 with second earlybird for All Inclusive fee covering One Parent Admission, Formal Wear Competition, All Side Awards, Casual Wear (natural), Wow Wear (Glitz), Photogenic and all beauty titles. I want it to be fair. ***age groups and Supreme breakdowns can change depending on distribution of entries to make it fair for everyone.*** *Age group break down (subject to change depending age distribution of contestants) Since we are hosting My Royal Crown (MRC) Natural and My Glitzy Crown (MGC) for the first time, we feel its important to keep the competition organized and fair. So, contestants much choose Natural or Glitz for Beauty not both. Hence, all titles will be separate Glitz and Natural!
Titles: (Titles will be based on Beauty + 1 optional) 2 Ultimate Grand Supremes 1 Natural and 1 Glitz 6 Grand Supremes 3 Natural 3 Glitz 6 Mini Supremes 3 Natural 3 Glitz Divisional Supremes Queens My Glitzy Crown (MGC) For Glitz Beauty-anything goes! You will be judged on total package. You may wear a flipper but will not be counted off if you do not wear one. Any style of dress. Cup cake, hi-low, ball gown your choice. Hair pieces and tanning allowed. (2 nd outfit) Wow Wear- Can be anything, no specific theme. Use your imagination and bring it to the stage. Make-up, flippers, tanning, heavy stones are allowed. You will have 90 seconds to wow the Judges. Props are allowed but not required. Photogenic- Pictures may be retouched or you may use a natural pic. Your choice. Head shot for photogenic is included. If you want to enter other categories we will offer comp and print model. My Royal Crown (MRC) NATURAL BEAUTY- Standard Natural rules will apply. No fake hair, lashes or flippers. NO MAKEUP on girls 9 and younger. 0-9 will be allowed lip gloss only. 10 and up light makeup ONLY. Remember MRC is natural so judges will want you to be as natural as possible. NO STONES ON NATURAL DRESS unless you purchased it from a store that way. So keep in mind it should not be a stoned cup cake that was glitzed by you or someone else. The dress must have the label inside. No stoned cupcake or babydoll dress. Cupcake/baby dolls with NO stones are fine. Beading and sequin is also ok. You will have 90 secs. Casual Wear: You will receive a music list before the pageant to choose from. Please do not ask for specific songs to be added, we are unable to accommodate. No props allowed. Any casual outfit. Keep in mind it PHOTOGENIC: One Single Photogenic shot is included and should be a headshot. We will also offer other categories. Composite - made up of at least 2 to 7 different poses on a single sheet, like a collage. Photos should not be larger than 8x10. You only need to register for 1, however, if you choose to register for more than 1 photo category, your highest scoring category will count toward overall titles. You may repeat the use individual photos from your composite for other category but we need separate copies. Example: We can not use a specific photo on the composite to score for photogenic; you must give us that same photo as a separate print. For Commercial Product/Print Model: this should be one of your best photos, may be full or ¾ body. Print model photos give the impression and quality that belongs in a magazine or advertisement. If you create your own advertisement for commercial product the child should be selling/advertising an item in the photo. Item may be clothing, toys, sun tan lotion, cereal etc. Be creative! Highest scoring photo wins titles. Optional Events Not included in your package:
Mom Division Calling all my fun moms!!! This is your chance to come feel beautiful and have fun. Compete in Beauty and Casual Wear. No limitations and you are not competing against the kids for titles. ($80.00 to enter) Not required Outfit of Choice or Commercial Product! You may provide music. Highest scores will be used for supreme titles. For Natural score can replace casual wear, for Glitz score can replace wow wear. (Requires Additional $25 fee for each). OPTIONAL TALENT SHOWCASE Winners and alternates will receive special recognition. Children can sing, dance, and play an instrument, read a poem or nursery rhyme. Please have music cued and ready to play. Talent should be limited to 3 minutes. All ages welcome. This category is not required to qualify for hi-point but if you choose to do a talent, You must pre-register for this category. Your talent outfit may be flashy! Hats, Props etc. all welcomed. Be creative have a ball with this! Please choose age appropriate music! Entry Fee: ($20) MOM OR DAD AND ME: Parent and child come to the stage together! Dress alike or in similar colors or costume. Outfits may be dressy, casual or costumes. Wonderful prize for the winners!! Entry fee: $20.00 ROYAL DUO/PAGEANT PALS: Pair up with another contestant (Glitz or Natural) for a chance to win some outstanding prizes! The two contestants with the highest combined scores from all events will be crowned Royal Partners. Each member of the duo will receive a beautiful tiara along with a wonderful gift. Pick a partner and your scores will be added together. You may pair up with more than one pal. To enter Royal Duo you must SELECT a partner at registration, tell us who your partner will be. Partners are working together to achieve the highest combined scores. Entry Fee ($5.00 per Partner). PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD: WIN A 6FT TROPHY! Sell good luck wishes for ONLY $1.00 a piece. NO approaching the judges or tabulators during the competition There will be no double crowing in Beauty to allow as many winners as possible. So, you cannot win beauty in your age division and the supreme titles. However, you may win other non-beauty awards. Including Jackpot categories and overalls that are extra to enter Please be prepared to go on stage when your age group is called. Natural contestants Please follow rules about stones on dresses and No glamour type photos or airbrushed photos.please follow all hair and make-up guidelines that you will also find at www.myroyalcrown.com. Absolutely no make-up on 9 and under. 10 and older may wear everyday lightly applied pressed powder. No foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow application allowed on any natural contestant. No fake hair for beauty; no restrictions on hair style, just all yours though. Costume wigs allowed for theme and ooc,talent. If you break these rules anytime during the competition your beauty score will be reduced by 50%. We are looking for natural beauty not a grown up look.
