Until recently, the Country Club of Harrisburg was one of three private membership clubs on the East Shore. The Country Club of Harrisburg is now the only remaining private membership country club, and we continue to distinguish ourselves in both value and experience from any other club both private and public in the area. 2014-2015 COUNTRY CLUB OF HARRISBURG GOLF OUTING CONTRACT 1. Deposits & Payments: We must receive a deposit of $500 and this signed contract to reserve your date. 2. Please make checks payable to the Country Club of Harrisburg. This amount will be applied to your final invoice. 3. The Country Club must receive a head count two weeks in advance to determine if a shotgun start is feasible. 4. All outings are required to give a list of golfers names and extra meals five days prior to the outing date. 5. Final payment is due the day of the outing, EXCEPT when prior payment arrangements have been made and approved in writing by the Club General Manager. Payment options include cash, company or personal checks, or credit cards. 6. Other discounts, coupons, cardholder and member discounts cannot be applied to the cost of the outing. 7. If additional golf carts are required for your outing, an extra charge will be assessed to the outing. Inquire with the Golf Pro about cart availability. Cancellations: 1. All cancellations must be in writing a minimum of twenty one (21) days prior to the outing date to receive a 100% refund of the security deposit. All other cancellations will lose the full deposit. 2. Your guaranteed number must be within 10% of your final count. In the event that your attendance is less than 10% of your guaranteed number, there will be a $50 golfer charge for those not in attendance. Pricing: Pricing will be determined by the number of golfers and any additional items, taxes, and service fees. RULES AND REGULATIONS Food and Beverage Food and alcoholic beverages shall be purchased from the Country Club of Harrisburg. o If donated food or beverage is brought to the Club, the following will apply: All food and beverage must be prepared and served by Club employees The Club s inventory purchase cost will be deducted from the full price of the food and beverage items. Sales tax and 20% gratuity will be applied to the full prices where applicable. All donated items must be delivered to the Club 48 hours in advance or the full prices will be charged. o The Club reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to anyone at any time for any reason. Alcoholic beverage consumption is permitted in the Clubhouse and on the golf course only. All food and beverage arrangements must be finalized 14 days prior to your golf outing with the Event Planner. Food and beverages not purchased at the Club are not permitted on the premises at any time, except as outlined above. The Club, with your recommendation, will determine the number of beverage stations that will be placed and serviced on the golf course and at the Clubhouse for your outing. RULES AND REGULATIONS Golf Course Rules of Play: Play on the golf course shall be governed by the Outing Contract as well as these Rules and Regulations. Play must begin from tees designated for your outing. Groups must play their event in five hours or less. All players are expected to play ready golf.
All players are to keep pace with the group ahead of them. The Club has rental clubs available at $25.00 per set. Refusal of Privileges: The group is responsible for proper conduct while on Club property. The group is responsible for obeying the posted daily cart path rules, replacing divots, repairing ball marks on the greens and the raking of sand traps. Unruly behavior, foul language, throwing of clubs, or hitting shots into groups will or may result in expulsion from the premises. All golfers will be expected to adhere to proper golf etiquette, including ready golf. Personal Property: The Club is not responsible for any personal property left anywhere on Club grounds. The Club is not responsible for loss of or damage to any motor vehicle driven or parked on Club grounds. The Club assumes no responsibility or liability, whatsoever, for any injury or damage caused to persons or property resulting from play on the golf course. Players should report immediately to the Golf Shop any personal injury or damage that occurs on the golf course. Etiquette: Outing participants are required to wear clothing that is customary to golf. Players must wear collared shirts, golf or tennis shoes. Players may not wear tee shirts, tank tops, sweat pants or cut-offs. Shirts must be worn at all times. Each player must have his/her own set of clubs when playing the course. Operation of Carts: Use of golf carts is mandatory for all outing rounds. Each outing participant is responsible for driving his/her cart in a safe and proper manner. Golf carts must adhere to designated areas, with no carts within 30 feet of the greens. No more than two golf bags and two riders shall be permitted per golf cart.
Liability: Each outing is responsible for, and will be charged accordingly for, physical damage to carts. Riders must obey the safety rules for the carts. The Club assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injury or damage to persons or property resulting from play on course. Players on the golf course shall report immediately to the Golf Shop any damage to person(s) or property caused by him/her.
