Passing 5- FACE THE SERVER - ANGLE THE ARMS ARMS STRAIGHT BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER SHUFFLE FOOTWORK TRACK BALL WITH PLATFORM PASS AND FREEZE Passing Comments You have a terrific platform in serve receive. With the efficient footwork that you have and the angles that you create it is a great combination to put a high settable pass up for the team. Continue to work on keeping arms independent to expand the passing range. Page 2

Attacking 5-4 STEP APPROACH - LITTLE TO BIG/SLOW TO FAST BOTH ARMS UP - HITTING ELBOW UP, SHOULDER BACK LOAD AND UNLOAD BODY - TORQUE SHOULDER TO SHOULDER SWING Attacking Comments You have a great approach that gets faster and bigger on each step. This allows you to look at the setter and figure out timing. You do an incredible job loading and unloading through the ball. Your vision is great as you keep a loose arm that adds accuracy. Page 3

Setting 4- SQUARE TO TARGET THUMBS UP/THUMBS DOWN HAND POSITION ELBOWS WIDE EXTEND ELBOWS AND FREEZE RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT FOOTWORK JUMP SET Setting Comments Good job putting up nice high, hittable sets for your hitters to be successful. Continue to work on extending your arms evenly and at the same time. Page 4

Serving 4 JUMP SPIN - 4 STEP APPROACH JUMP SPIN - HIGH TOSS WITH HITTING HAND AFTER 1ST STEP JUMP FLOAT - TOSS TO RIGHT SHOULDER AFTER 2ND STEP FLOAT/JUMP-HITTING ARM UP AND BACK QUICKLY FLOAT/JUMP-SOLID HAND THROUGH CENTER OF BALL Serving Comments Great job having a consistent toss. This allowed you to open your vision and attack the ball into a great spot. Continue to work on contacting the ball high and in front to create angles that go straight down to take time away from the opposing passers. Page 5

Blocking 4+ BALL-SETTER-BALL-HITTER EYE SEQUENCING 3 AND 5 STEP BLOCKING FOOTWORK ARMS STRAIGHT UP AND STRAIGHT OVER BLOCK WHERE YOU WANT THE BALL TO GO SWING BLOCK - HANDS IN FRONT OF SHOULDERS BEFORE EXTENDING Blocking Comments Great eye sequencing to understand what the next ball actor was going to do. This helped you to figure out the correct footwork and timing. You kept your hands in front of you and pressed onto the other side to take away hitting avenues for opponents. Continue to work on finishing where you want the ball to go. Page 6

Defense 5- READY POSITION - GOOD POSTURE, SQUARE TO BALL, BALANCED, WEIGHT FORWARD PLATFORM ANGLED UP DIG 20' HIGH AND 10' OFF MOVEMENT FACE BALL, DROP - STEP - STEP DEFENSIVE EFFORT FLOOR SKILLS Defense Comments Similar to blocking, great job in eye sequencing to understand the opponent s next move. Make sure that you continue to allow yourself the ability to cut the ball off in front of you. In giving yourself this opportunity, you can continue to control the dig on our side 20 in the air and 10 off the net. Page 7

Cognitive Score Emphasis 5 Court Sense/Volleyball IQ 5 Coachability 5 Attempts To Execute 5 Competitiveness 4+ Overall Communication 4 Leadership 5 Team Player Cognitive Comments You are a great athlete who leads by example. I could tell that you came into the gym every day to work, but were comfortable enough to let the mistakes go and learn for the future. You are competitive and a wonderful person to have on any team. Page 8

Physiology Score Emphasis 5- Overall Conditioning 4+ Upper Body Strength 4 Lower Body Strength 5- Court Speed Physiology Comments You are a very strong player with a great ability to jump. Continue to work on taking care of your body. As you continue your career, you will take more jumps and swings and with your ability to jump it can take a toll. Make sure to lift and use bands that help prevent injuries in the future. Outside Hitter Score Position Emphasis 5- Defensive Ability 4+ Blocking Ability 5- Ability To Terminate 5- Transition To Attack 5- Offensive Range 5 Out Of System Attack 5- Service Receive Ability Position Comments Alia, as an outside you have a bright future. You are a smaller outside in the grand scheme, however the things that you do exceptionally well will help you be a great outside in the future. Your comfortability in passing allows confidence to pass a high settable ball that makes the team better. Your footwork is very effiecient and this allows you to make plays better. You are great with timing and continuing to work on that will allow you the opportunities for success in the future. Your control on attacking allows you to see the court and attack weaknesses. This control also allows you to be a great offensive weapon when out of system. Alia, it was great to have the opportunity to coach you. Not only are you a physically gifted athlete, you are an absolute workhorse. Every opportunity you had throughout our time, you took advantage and did a great job getting better. Continue to work on comfortable footwork to increase tempo and timing. In passing and defense continue to keep your arms independent to expand your range. You are a great communicator especially in blocking and defense. Continue to get comfortable with blocking footwork and reading the developing play. I wish you the best on your future playing career and am excited to see your ongoing growth. 1995-2017 - Efficient Enterprise Engineering, Inc. Page 9
