SUPER STREETS MAY 26 COMPLETION Superman Aaron Fellows won his 2nd feature event of the season in the first race of the night. Good things come to those that wait! Ask Aaron Fellows. With the first 19 laps of the race taking place a week earlier until rain delayed the finish, Fellows took the lead from Ben Poland on Lap 21 and won his second feature of the season. Poland ended up third for his second podium finish in five races. The Original Craig Smith restarted the race from the fifth position and finished second for his fourth top 5 of the year. Outlaw Racing s Ryan Currier recorded his best finish of the year thus far with a fourth. Dylan Bodreau recovered after being sent to the back of the field after contact with Alex Poisson. He finished fifth for his fourth top 5 as well. Hayden Scott was absent from the second installment of the race due to a prior commitment as the race was run on Saturday. Alex Poisson led the first 16 laps of the event. Bodreau and Joe Brown were the heat race winners on May 26. 14 cars originally the started the event on May 26. Only four cautions during the 40 laps with one coming on Lap 19 for the rain shower and then the eventual suspension. 5

Craig Smith was the runner-up in the first feature of the night, his third podium. Ben Poland capped off a strong run with a third place finish. R.E. Poisson led the first 16 circuits that took a week to complete. Tyler Searles finished ninth in the first feature, his best finish of the young season. 6

SUPER STREETS Marvelous Mark McClay was all smiles after his finish in the nightcap feature. After post-race inspection, McClay was awarded the feature win - his second of the season. You look marvelous. Mark McClay originally finished 2nd but after post-race technical inspections, McClay was declared the winner, his second feature of the season. McClay also won his heat race. Aaron Fellows was the unoffficial feature winner until post-race technical inspections found an infraction with the carburetor resulting in his disqualification. Newport s Craig Smith wrapped up a productive night at the races. After finishing second in the earlier feature, Smith followed it up with a third place effort. Smith is now your new points leader a quarter of the way into the season. It has been a radical season thus far for defending champion Ricky Bly. Bly recorded his first podium of the year with a runner-up finish. He only sits 19 points out of the point lead at this juncture. Dylan Bodreau had his first DNF of the season after an incident on Lap 2. Bodreau eventually went pitside on Lap 5. Alex Poisson finished fifth in the 40-lap feature. This was Poisson s career-best Super Street finish. Speaking of career-bests, rookie Matt Sonnhalter had his best career Super Street finish with a seventh. The Judge Joe Brown led the first 16 circuits until wheel issues forced him to retire early. Brown finished 13th. 15 cars started the event which was slowed by only 2 cautions. 7

WILDCATS Defending champion Zach Lyn visits Victory Lane for his first feature win of the year. While it may not be home runs by teammates, Zach Lyn went back to back with his second feature win in as many weeks. Lyn took control of the race on Lap 2 and easily bested the rest of the field by over 2 seconds. Victor Branch was all smiles as the youngster finished second for his first career-podium. Ricky Melcher originally had finished third but failed post-race technical inspection. Chris Davis was awarded third for this second podium of the year. He is also only one of two drivers to have all top 5 finishes (Lyn being the other). Rookies Jonathan Alden and Raven Streeter finished fourth and fifth respectively. Alden led the first lap but on a restart on Lap 2, he fired outside the restart zone resulting in him restarting from the back of the pack. Rookie Kyle Templeton was not so lucky on this night as he lost an engine on Lap 14. Templeton finished tenth. Alden and Templeton were the heat race winners. After winning on the dirt at Legion Speedway on Friday night, Erin Aiken followed it up with a sixth place finish. Rookie Bryanna Cook had her best career-finish with an eighth. Only 13 cars started the feature which was slowed by three cautions. 15
