NEW pool s potential as an Academic Facility cont. : Boating Safety class Career Day (demonstrations of different aquatic careers could take place there) Elementary swim classes High school physical education swim instruction i classes and fitness classes
NEW pool s potential as an Academic Facility cont. : Cross curricular activities can utilize pool: Math class measuring volume Math class testing force using the diving i board fulcrum Science/Health testing the water as the Health Dept. would Science classes measuring humidity compared to other parts of the building Health/PE measuring heart rate from swimming compared to other physical activities Video class could tape active swimmers to learn correct procedures to film individuals idiid in motion in water
