IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION Arrival/Parking ALL BUSES & PIT/PROP/EQUIPMENT VEHICLES USE JUNCTION ROAD ENTRANCE. Upon arrival, parking attendants will direct you to parking. A Band Buddy will meet each band and provide you with wristbands for your volunteers and drivers, based on the numbers you provided us. All others will need to purchase a ticket and wristband for entry. Once you arrive at your destination, vehicles will not be able to leave the premises. If an emergency arises, contact a parking attendant. Accessibility If assistance is needed for access, ask a parking attendant and we will request a golf cart. Restrooms Restrooms are in the 9/10 building behind the press box. ADA compliant Porta-johns are available adjacent to the football. Accessible restrooms are in the Music Building by the satellite dish across from the band exit gate. Warm Up Upon arrival, a band buddy will meet your group and escort you to a practice. Member Re-Entry Bands in uniform or partial uniform will be permitted to reenter the event. The bleachers on the visiting side of the will be reserved for competing bands. Tickets Ticket prices are $12 for regular submission, and $5 for senior and student tickets with ID. Children under 5 years are free. Tickets are sold at the main entrance by Lot E and by the Accessible parking at Lot G. Field Surface The performance is artificial turf. Power is available on the. There are no obstacles for entering and exiting s, however, notify us if you have large vehicles moving pit & prop items from. Competition Suite Adjudicator commentary for all USBands ensembles is in Competition Suite shortly after the conclusion of each ensemble's performance. Directors may grant access to the ensemble s portal with staff/instructors and may request help from USBands representatives to resolve any issues accessing Competition Suite. Retreat/Critique After all performances, participating drum lines will be escorted to the by the host school s drumline. Once assembled the host school will lead the entire ensemble in a performance of the USBands cadence. During this performance, drum majors will be escorted to the for the awards ceremony. Critique room is in Room 174 in the 9/10 building across from the ticket center. Percussion storage: Percussion instruments may be stored at the far end of the football after the performance and prior to the cadence. If it rains, we will advise of alternate arrangements Awards Trophies will be given out in the Gold Show award categories. Souvenirs/Merchandise We will offer a Show Shirt for sale, and Candy Grams and Air Grams. Concessions Concession will be sold at the Food Court shack off the football. SEVERE WEATHER PLAN In the event of severe weather, performances and awards will take place in the 9/10 building. Arrival: All buses and pit/prop/equipment vehicles, please use the Junction Rd entrance to the facility. Buses turn into IMC Lot E and drop off winds and guard near tennis courts. Winds and guard will carry instruments into 9/10 building. Pit performers and equipment can proceed to the front of the 9/10 building (Lot G - the Fountain Lot). Pit equipment can be brought into the building. Vehicles park at Lots A, B or D band buddy will direct. Parking: Upon arrival, our parking attendants will direct you to parking. Each bus and truck driver will receive a wristband. Once you arrive at your destination, you will not be able to leave the premises. If an emergency arises, please contact our parking attendant. Visitors and patrons requiring accessible parking will use E or G. If you require assistance, please notify our parking attendant. Restrooms: All restrooms will remain available. Member Re-entry: Bands in uniform or partial uniform will be permitted to reenter the event. Warm-up areas in severe weather: Color Guard warm up: under the portico by the Music building; use covered walkway. Pit warm up: band buddy will direct you to pit warm up location. Band and drumline warm up: rooms 172 and 174 in 9/10 building. Performance Area: The performance will take place in the gym in the 9/10 building and will be a stand-still performance. Retreat/Critique: After the performances, in the event of severe weather, the call will be made if a drum cadence will take place. If it will take place, it will be in the 9/10 building. During this performance, drum majors will be escorted to designated awards area of the 9/10 gym for the awards ceremony. Critique room will be in a room in the 9/10 building. Tickets: Regular admission $12/person. Seniors & Students $5/person. Children under 5 are free. In severe weather, tickets will be sold in the hallway in front of gym.
