The competition will be match play within each age group. One point is awarded for a win, and half a point is earned for a tie. The team with the most points upon completion of play will be awarded the GM PROVIDENCE WORLD TEAM CHALLENGE TROPHY. Players tying for first or second in the 54 whole event will have a scorecard playoff to determine the team members. Ties will be broken by the last round score, last 9 holes, last 6 holes, last 3 holes and then the last hole played going back on the scorecard.
