United Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Canada 2019 Charity Tae Kwon-Do Tournament Hosted by Legacy Tae Kwon-Do January 27, 2019 Dear Martial Arts Instructors, We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend our Charity Tae Kwon-Do Tournament. The competition will be held on April 13-14, 2019 at the University of Lethbridge Gymnasium in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada It is our intent to uphold the highest standards to ensure a fair, safe, organized and exciting event. We hope to take this opportunity for a friendly competition from a wide variety of schools. All men, women and children training in recognized schools are welcome to compete in this event. To date we have confirmed attendance from school across Western Canada. Some funds raised from this event will be donated to KidSport, which helps underprivileged children to gain access to organized sports. Since 1997 our events have been supporting KidSport. Our last tournament hosted in 2017 was a huge success, and we presented a cheque to KidSport in the amount of $8 000. We are excited to be hosting another great event and look forward to your participation. Enclosed is the tournament package with details of the event including rules, fees, and accommodation information. We have spent considerable time completing a thorough review of or sparring rules toward making our event safe, fun and exciting. For the first time we are also offering point sparring divisions for color belts green and up (ages 10+). Please go through this package and the rules package thoroughly to familiarize yourself with our event and distribute them to your students so they are aware of the times, rules and conditions.
