Conditions of (1) Interpretation and Definitions Designated time slots of Club sports facilities available for bookings by outside bodies are: 18- hole Golf Course, Executive Nine Golf Course, Tennis, Squash, Badminton, and Table Tennis. Outside Bodies shall mean schools registered under the Education Ordinance (Cap. 279), Nongovernmental Organisations receiving subvention from the Social Welfare Department, uniformed groups and youth organisations receiving subvention from the Home Affairs Bureau, government departments, and National Sports Associations recognised by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and relevant International Federations. (2) Application forms to be used Application for Facility Usage Racket Sports & 9-hole Golf Course Applicants must attach the following information when submitting the application forms: - Business Registration of organiser of the event - A list of participants for the event (3) procedures for normal booking Applicants must submit the completed application forms by fax or by post to the Club seven (7) days before the date of use of the facilities. The applications will be processed on a firstcome-first-served basis. (4) procedures for priority booking Applicants must submit the completed application forms by fax or by post to the Club at least fourteen (14) days but not more than thirty (30) days before the requested date of use of the facilities. The applications will be processed according to the priority of applicant, i.e. outside bodies shall have priority over the use of facilities. If more than one application for the same session from outside bodies is received, the applications will be processed on a first-come-firstserved basis. (5) Maximum two (2) hours For Racket Sports, applicants can book for a maximum of two (2) hours per facility per day. (6) Processing time Applicants will be informed of their application results within seven (7) days upon receipt of the completed application forms. Applicants should not assume that they have been allocated the facilities until they have received written confirmation. Once the application is approved, a negotiable agreement will be followed. (7) Methods of payment Conditions Payment can be made by cheque. Deposit would be required for golf facilities booking. (1) Applicants shall observe the Club's Bye-laws, which governs the use of facilities. Organisers of outside bodies using facilities must take responsibility for the behaviour of participants while on site. (2) A responsible person of outside bodies must report to the Country Store at the Country Club/Golf Pro Shop fifteen (15) minutes before their actual playing time for court/tee time registration and its payment (if applicable). (3) The Club reserves the right to refuse any Sports Facilities User, including outside bodies, members, members guests, or visitors, to use any sports facilities if the user breaches the Club Bye-laws or other Club rules. (4) The Club also reserves the right to block any facilities for repair and maintenance, Club sanctioned events/activities without prior notice; any confirmed bookings may be cancelled or re-scheduled to other available dates. (5) Cancellation and No Show policies:
i. Cancellation of bookings must be made in writing to the Club at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the reserved time. The Club will issue a warning letter to offenders who cancel later than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the reserved time, or for No Show. Should a second offence occur within six (6) months of the first letter, the offender will be suspended from the right of using Club facilities for the subsequent six (6) months. ii. s will be considered No Show if they are not taken or signed in for within fifteen (15) minutes of the reserved time. No Show time slot(s) will then be opened up to Club members on a first-come-first-serviced basis. General (1) Dress code at golf courses and Golf Clubhouse Dress code requirements All golfers must maintain a reasonably conservative standard of dress at all times, and dress in proper golf attire while on the course. No denim jeans Denim Jeans are definitely NOT permitted regardless of label, style or color. Dress code for men T-shirts (collarless shirts or vests), sleeveless shirts, and tracksuits are NOT permitted. Gentlemen must wear collared shirts with sleeves or mock-neck shirts with sleeves, and the shirts must be tucked into trousers at all times. Athletic and exercise shorts, Bermuda shorts, leotards and shorts more than four inches (4 ) above knees are NOT permitted. New-style men's mid-calf length shorts/trousers are NOT permitted. New-style men's combat shorts with side pockets are NOT permitted. Gentlemen may only wear tailored trousers and shorts. The acceptable length for golf shorts is just above the knees. Dress code for ladies Ladies may wear sleeveless blouses provided that they are conservative and tasteful and of a type commonly considered standard golf attire. Tracksuits and vests are NOT permitted. Long and short pants as well as skirts and capris are allowed. Shorts and skirts more than four inches (4") above knees, athletic and exercise shorts and leotards are NOT permitted. Footwear Suitable footwear must be worn in the Golf Clubhouse at all times. Sandals and flip-flops are NOT permitted. Only proper golf shoes with soft spikes is permitted at the course. (2) Tennis rules & regulations i. No more than six (6) persons are permitted on court at the same time. A maximum of nine (9) balls are permitted on court at the same time. ii. Only non-marking tennis shoes and proper tennis attire are permitted. (3) Badminton rules & regulations i. No more than six (6) persons are permitted on court at the same time. (4) Squash rules & regulations i. No more than two (2) persons are permitted on court at the same time. (5) Table Tennis rules & regulations i. No more than six (6) persons are permitted on court at the same time.
